If your application have been received by VAC,you don’t have a problem,some even get their passport without waiting for collection mail,but collection mail should drop within a day.But if it has been transferred to VAC with the glitch they are experiencing now,you still have to wait,for only God knows when,for it to be received by VAC.

It took them 48hrs to change mine to received at VAC

Sorry to hear this, does your husband submitted company account? because the Eco did not mention it at all. Maybe you think you uploaded it ? Because at time we think we uploaded all the documents?

Anyway the reason is very straightforward, let wait for other gurus in the house to contribute.

How many working days is your husband application ? at the time you received the refusal letter

He did .he submitted o, but they didn’t acknowledge it. May be we thought too. It was exactly 40working days

Sorry about this. These ECOs seem to make alot of mistakes! Also, cross-check his application form and the information provided. Make sure that this next application is fool-proof from end to end. You should also back it up with a very convincing cover letter that breaks down his intention to travel, that explains the previous refusal and that also explains both his personal and company finances. He should give a very good and understandable breakdown in this letter. Let them not have any reason to deny him at all. Because sometimes, when you address one issue, they will purposely look for another reason to deny someone. I don't trust those people.

Also, was it standard or priority application that your husband did? How many working days after his biometric did it take before he received this letter?

Got this just now decision made and over 42 working days

I did with first bank yesterday. I have been debitEd this morning and asked to come pick up $$ a few minutes ago.
I think you should contact the bank. Like I mentioned yesterday, there is a new process of raising Form A. You do it yourself online, upload documents and all. Afterwhich you print it out and go to the bank.
This is a very new development.

Biometrics date was oct 11th

I only submitted a cover letter from my company explaining my traveling and I didn’t submit any account statement or any other document

Kindly note - I have been given 6 month Uk visa twice in the past

Are you joking 48 working days ! Please bombard them with paid calls and emails. This has to be longest I’ve heard of

Funny enough I applied same day with my boyfriend and we did Biometric same day too. he got his visa approved 2days ago while mine is still under consideration. I have called severally and send paid emails. This is so annoying�
