This Golden State's pattern is not sustainable sha. Just my observation. |

Khanben:Some of them are unfortunately. Even among the pros, not all of them are professionals. Some rely mostly on skill, and will never really get to the next level - they are comfortable with stat lines and contracts. What has CJ improved in? Some people's hate are not even worth the energy. Its not that they dont respect his skill. Its that he is not in the clique. If these are who you are referring to, meh, no biggie |

Wetin this man dey talk? Abi you go school, wetin be the meaning of dangerous? Abi na you just make mistake with that word? Talk another thing abeg. "Has his legs", Person wey never play, you don already dey assume say leg no dey. This man you sure say you no dey sleep while standing sha? . We just saw a 6-11 guy recover, and the last i checked he's doing just fine. Now is the concern of injuries fair, yes. But we know una, never liking the idea of a dominant GSW team. ![]() birdman: |

I have some time today. Did somebory just say the Golden state pattern is unsustainable? You mean a team that's currently 18-4. And another friend of mine supports that take. Oh certainly not over a 7 game series. Are you seeing what i am seeing people? What would it take you to at least assume that a team currently 18-4 may just be that good? Continue. ![]() |

benji93:If you want to quote me, quote me, stop going through the corners Regular season record means little in this league. Ask the Bucks and Jazz. GS thrives on great movement off the ball. What I observed from them is that they use all their energy in the first 3 quarters with all that running around that they do. And they usually are gassed by the 4th. If the game is tight going into the 4th, it would be a problem. I've seen this happen twice already in the last 3 games. Last night for example Steph didn't score a single point in the last 8:45 minutes. Tell me it had nothing to do with fatigue. I wouldn't mind playing this Warriors in a series o. Shebi na shoot dem wan dey shoot. Dem go shoot tire. But hope you're coming with your rim/paint protection. In the post season when the game slows down, or when it's crunch time and it's time for one on one basketball, when everybody freezes and your superstar has the ball in his hand, can you count on Steph to take you home? That was what KD was there for in those years. As good as Steph is, I don't think he's that guy. |

Nice one. O boy dey follow my comments for other threads. And trust me i am taking your advice. ![]() Oh Rookie wiseman will get some minutes. So hopefully we have the big man issue covered. Nobody talk say this Golden state team fit bulldoze through the west with Stephen Curry only. Anybody wey talk that just wan bant. We will get Klay at at least 85% and Rookie Wiseman. I only need him to dominate sorry AD. . Besides between a group of veterans led by a counterfeit GOAT(na only say i still dey respect say he may just still something left) and this GSW team i no know who go get fatigue problem. . You better aim at 4th, 5th, 6th place, because na easy sweep be that, in which somewhere along the line, AD go tell us say him dey vomit, get stomach issues. I no know wetin that man dey chop. . Hopefully, God spares our lives. That post-season you insist on is not too far away.steady986: |

steady986:Steph won one without KD, so your last point just comes across as hating. Steph won 2 games in the finals against the Raptors without Klay and KD and his support cast now is way better than those he had for that finals series. IMHO GSW will need Wiseman and Klay to win it all which leans into the point you were making in the first paragraph and the first part of the second. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by mattfeuter(m): 12:18am On Dec 06, 2021 |
benji93:I wouldn’t go to the extent of “unsustainable” but I think their style of play is “suspect”. 18-4 doesn’t tell the true story as it has just been Steph lightening the league up. I personally think the NBA shouldn’t be taken seriously until the playoffs, as this is when frauds are usually separated. . . . |
| Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 4:41pm On Dec 06, 2021 |
Khanben:Why wouldn't he win when he got the best handicap possible? And which game did Steph win against Raptors without Klay? Please check well. The first game Klay got injured is the only game Steph won, and Klay played 32 mins in that game. But that's besides the point. The point is we've not really seen this Warriors system without KD overcome adversity. In the first year, they just had to win against a Cavs without Kyrie and Love. LeBron on his own won two games, imagine what would have been with those two. Second year, we saw the meltdown. Third and fourth year they had KD. Fifth year without KD, although Klay missed a game, Raptors were always in control of that series. |

Abeg credit to the Donovan and the Bulls for comfortably beating Denver without DeRozan, Caruso, Coby White and Patrick Williams...that's two starters, and two of the first names off the bench. Though it seems Denver haven't exactly been scintillating this season but the last time we beat them, we had most of these guys, they were missing Jokic and yet, it was tighter than this. Ayo Dosunmu looking like a tremendous 38th pick...dude is improving every game. |

Khanben:LeBron played a handicapped Miami Heats and claimed that was his most difficult ring. Hoohoo. Shannon 'not too sharp' and similar Lebtards were chorusing such a dumb narrative like it is the gospel. When they tell you "LeBron had to win 2 games on his own" I laugh. Without that Kyrie injury, GSW were settling for a sweep. Maybe they don't remember, but Cleveland lost the only game Kyrie played in (and yes Kyrie played 43+ mins - even more than Curry did). Providence allowed Matthew Delly to be moved into the starting line up and he was the one who was turning the series over. Incase people forgot, Bronny had a big game 1 but his team still lost. So the notion that his big numbers was solely what got his team those wins can only be from the archive of someone who watches the back of his TV. Matthew harassed Curry so badly he was turning over the ball 6 more times than usual and GSWs ORB was 10-15 lower than Clevelands. We were getting abused physically. LeBron called them the grit squad. Even when Curry had a decent game 3 he was still very inefficient with negative +/-. Meanwhile Della was having Cleveland highs of +15 and +13 in those 2 games. LeMAO never came close. Yet "he won those 2 games on his own". Iguodala's MVP was not about defending LeBron. That was just lazy analysis (Lebron's numbers barely shifted). Iggy was inserted to that starting line up to frustrate Matthew. That was what opened the series for GSW and it was blowout after blowout till fade. People who swept the 60 win ATL Hawks in the ECF should stop telling us about Kevin Love. He was injured game 1 of the first round against the Celtics. They did fine without him. I have since shown that Kyrie played full minutes up to OT and his team lost. Cleveland always needed someone to take Curry out - simple. Tyronn Lue who worked with David Blatt took notes and that was his strategy for all the years that Cavs and GSW went at it - even when Kevin Durant was riding Curry's coattail. That same Kevin Durant that had just frizzled a 3-1 lead to a player he is 8 inches taller than and supposedly carried to 2 rings. Stupid things we have to read here from not too sharp people. |

Android17:Your map of the world is not the only map in the world. There are 7.9 billion other maps. Quit talking down on people and show some respect boy! Lebron saying his Bubble ring was his most difficult ring was not necessarily because of the Heats. The emotional torture and existential fear of the year's corona pandemic and the stressful conditions of the Bubble itself and how all these affected him and stretched him to his limits as an athlete was what he was referring to. Saying Iggy's MVP was not because he defended Lebron well is a blatant lie. Without Iggy shutting down Lebron in that series nobody would have awarded him any MVP, take that to the bank. Your other points remind me of the recent Messi and Ronaldo fanboys ballon d'or argument - pure bias points against the one you 'hate'. Just emotions. |

DeeMain:You write intelligently but sometimes add minding your business to it. We habitually throw jabs here and there. I could very well be biased in some of my points but they are factos- all the raw data and citations to that effect can easily be sourced. I am considering taking on your points one after the other but I am not so sure it interests me that much. I will only just add that the "Iggy shutdown" humdrum is the popular and over-rehashed narrative but it is hard to sell to even LeBron haters as the man "inefficiently" averaged 35.8 points per game. He was "inefficient" when he had 44 in game 1 as well and would you be surprised to find out Iggy did not start that game as well? |
