Wow, thanks a lot Makano. So, there’s no issue with the mail being sent from a different email from the one used on applying. Really appreciate your responses. Thanks again

Okay, good to know you have access to your account.. The Afghan thing was then, and I believe its never a reason again..

Find below the emails addresses of the concerned Offices and also the Webform for Nairobi office..

Send at least 5 mails everyday to this Offices, do not copy any office when sending the mail, send individually to each Office... Let them know that your application is far delayed and your resumption time is in few weeks time(January 2022) and you need final decision from them so you can prepare yourself adequately for your resumption date.

Congrats Nomsy, may the land favor you

Nomsy33:
It's PPR!!!!!!!!

My joy knows no bounds. The good lord has indeed seen it fit to use Mr. Frankrobbn1's efficient work ethics to grant me the best possible outcome I could have ever envisaged. He helped me prepared an airtight study permit application. He guided me through the process, and answered every question I asked, even the seemingly unintelligent ones. He packaged an application that was meticulously detailed before the final submission, and in the end, my study permit application was approved with no issues. I so much admire the fact that there is transparency when working with Mr. Frank because you will have access to your application and documents. I am truly grateful for all his help and support given the speed and positive feedback I got at my first application.

I also wish to thank @Lekiboboe, the angel in human form who I met on this very platform. He personally assisted me to secure my admission at Conestoga College for a PGC in Human Resources Management (HRM). He was sincere at the very beginning after the admission came in that he doesn't prepare visa applications for people, so he strongly recommended that I should retain the services of Mr. Frankrobbn1 of fandrglobal.com considering that he is knowledgeable and well grounded in the Canadian immigration procedures. I can't thank you enough for your kind gesture.

I am exhilarated for this great news and wish to share my joy with everyone.

There is an issue as IRCC will not respond to it. it has to be from the email that receives correspondence from IRCC.

If your email was not used, either use the right email or use a webform(though the webform will request for the email attached to the application)

Hello people,

My brother entered the PR pool in august 2021 , he however wants to use the study route to come to canada in May 2022. He has secured masters admission and is at the point of applying for his study visa. However he has 2 issues:

1. He put on his PR application that he has been working as a “Training administrator” at the family company. However, the course he’s going for is finance related and because of the fact that approval is dependent upon if the course relates to your career path or if it is something you studied, he filled in his sop that he is an investment analyst( he actually started branching out into this a few months back).

I would like to know if it’d be reasonable to fill it on his form that he’s currently an investment analyst without raising any eyebrows from the visa officer as to whether he’s lying about it.

2. He is considering taking down his PR profile because he’s scared that it’d affect his chances of getting approved because of home ties. I would like people who have been in this dilemma to advice please

I would like the house to please advice on the above. I would appreciate any takes and inputs!

This is my 2kobo on this though other gurus will offer more insight to this..

It is advisable to follow the same story you gave in an application into the next application. That being said, it is also likely the PR app wont be handled by the same VO that will handle the study app. Therefore anything is possible. Furthermore, it is already on record he applied for a PR and it will be known meaning even if he pulls the PR app down, it is already on record and all he said and attached is on record.

I will advise he maintains the same story as he said on the PR app but ventured into Investment analysis later on which is the basis why he is seeking a masters in the intended course.

I want to ask, does he have a masters already because i believe for a PR, a masters increases your points?

For three days now, this issue has not been resolved. I am sorry I know I should take this to SOWP page but I haven't gotten any positive feedback there.

So I ask again please, Has anyone been able to pay for anything VISA(SOWP or student) within the past three days? cry

Congrat broda.. thanks for the update may God continue to bless you and your family.. pls can you check with your sister if a PCR test is required before flighting Lufthansa from Lagos to Mexico?

Also is it important to pay for 14days Airbnb in advance?

Thanks

Latest update on Mexico trip..
Lufthansa took off by 11:40pm Nigerian time and they got to Germany 8 hours later. She had a stop 5 hours stopover in Germany and took of to Mexico afterwards. I couldn't reach her after the phone call in Germany ( I was worried).
She video called me some minutes ago and told me her trip was fine and they flew for 11hours from Frankfurt to Cancun. She said she didn't go through any form of hassle at the Cancun airport and everything went smoothly.
They will be going to the AirBnB they booked later today and will pay in person. ( If you wanna book an AirBnB look for one you can pay in person). The AirBnB guy came to pick them up at the airport for 200 pesos. Lost story short Thank God she arrived safely and the journey was hassle free.

Alhamdulillah!!!

I feel so relieved sharing my PPR as a silent reader of this thread. I applied to NBCC Moncton mainly because I have siblings in New Brunswick. I was a bit worried as I have ties to Canada which reduces my chances of success. However, I took the wisdom from this thread focusing on my ties to Nigeria in my SOP. I did upfront medicals at IOM in early July and submitted my application at the end of July with biometrics a week after that.

Then the wait began, four (4) months of daily checking of my IRCC account, reading posts on this thread, and constant refresh of my email. Other parts of the four months were spent worrying over how small the number of documents I submitted was compared to other PPR posts that I have seen on the thread. After the regular processing time passed, I sent two webforms and decided to request GCMS notes at the end of November.

I woke up this morning to the BVL and PPR mail.

https://punchng.com/red-list-nans-threatens-shutdown-of-british-canadian-missions-issues-72hrs-ultimatum-for-reversal/ hopefully this can yield a positive result

The National Association of Nigerian Students has given the British Mission in Nigeria 72 hours to rescind its decision to pause the issuance and processing of visas to Nigerians over the discovery of the COVID-19 Omicron variant.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that NANS gave the ultimatum during its protest at the British Deputy High Commission in Lagos on Tuesday over the travel and visa restrictions placed on Nigerians over the Omicron variant of the COVID-19 virus.

“If there is an absence of solutions in the next 72 hours, NANS will have no other choice but to shut down the activities of British and Canadian missions across Nigeria,” NANS said at the protest.

NAN reports that following the discovery of the new COVID-19 variant, Omicron, the British government put Nigeria and other selected African countries on the red list.

The variant was first reported recently in South Africa and has since then been found in 38 countries including France, Germany, Netherlands, Portugal, Australia and others.

Chairman, NANS Ogun Chapter, Kehinde Damilola, told NAN during the protest that the association was displeased with the decision of the British government to place a ban on travels from Nigeria.

According to him, the decision is pure racism and an attempt to intimidate African countries, particularly Nigeria.

“We have come to say enough is enough with the treatment Nigeria constantly receives from Europe. The narrative has to change because Nigerians are not a symbol of havoc or hazard.

“This decision will affect not only visitors but also our international students who are studying in the U.K.

“The omicron variant did not emanate from Nigeria, neither do we have up to a dozen cases so why should we be punished for it even over other European countries?” he said.

The student leader urged the British mission in Nigeria to look into the situation without delay, adding that the exorbitant quarantine fee for students and visitors should also be revoked.

Also, NANS South-West Coordinator Adegboye Olatunji, said that COVID-19 was not an African virus neither was the new variant, Omicron.

“Placing a ban on only African members of the Commonwealth is not right.

“We should be thinking of solutions on how to eradicate the virus and vaccinate Africans instead of coming up with red lists.

“We have thousands of students studying in the U.K. who have plans of returning to Nigeria for the festive season but their plans have been cut short.

“We are not here to fight anyone, neither are we here to cause havoc,” Olatunji said.

He added that NANS was ready to take the mantle to fight relentlessly for Nigerians studying abroad.

NAN reports that policemen and other security agents were on ground at the British Deputy High Commission to prevent any security breach.

Speaking with NAN, an official of the British mission, who did not disclose his name, told NAN that audiovisual recording of the protest had been forwarded to appropriate authorities to address the issue.

“We will be relating happenings to the Deputy Head of Mission who will, in turn, make calls to London.

“That is where we are going to take it from because we can’t make instant decisions,” he said.

Hello, welcome to Canada study thread. I always tell people that in this journey, it is very good to ask questions but then, you will surely need to read informations that have been posted already so that you can arm your self accordingly. Go to the the first and subsequent pages on this thread and read up the basic informations that have been posted regarding this journey, it will definitely help you in preparing better.

For your questions:
1) Partially Yes . Some schools accept 70% of your last two years, so some 2.2 may have a high CGPA in the last two years of studies. Also some accept professional experience with the 2.2. A school like UCW accept 2.2 for their MBA that is if your career pursuit is in this line. Most MSC programs are very competitive and 2.2 is not always a good fit, but if you do more research, you can get in with your 2.2. If you are not able to get an MSC, you can always go for PGD too.

2)
Schooling in Canada is not cheap except you get funding for your program. Schools like Mun and University of Manitoba are affordable. Colleges like NBCC and NSCC are very affordable but they do not offer MSC.

3) This depends on your tuition fees and cost of living in your province of choice. The provinces in the Atlantic regions are more affordable to live in.

4) It can take up to a minimum of 6 months from admission to study permit, however, the duration will depend on when IRCC issue your SP cause the timeline differ for different individuals.

5) Proof of funds required for one person is calculated with: Tuition fee + Living Expense ( 10,000CAD ) + Travel ticket. So you are doing a two year program, it is always best to have the first yea POF in liquid cash, and then have the other year in investment , other source of income supported with proof.
More people will add their own opinions too.

All the best to you.

Thanks for this info bro, I want to ask if NBCC require IELTS from International Students from Nigeria?

Hello all, Please how and where do I get the enrollment letter that I will submit at the point of entry in Canada?

You can send a mail to your school. I did that and I was told how to get mine.
