Can you please give someone the link to the job?
There is no particular link. I had applied to several countries not just Ireland. Two reached out, one in Ireland and the other in USA. The former made an offer after interview and I’m yet to hear back from the latter as it isn’t yet up to the time they mentioned. If you need to find specific jobs for Ireland, check on Facebook there are several groups and pages for jobs in Ireland there.

Hello everyone .

Please I would appreciate an answer to this question of mine. Can I submit my documents for appeal to the Irish embassy myself without using a courier service?

Is anyone gonna address my issue? I’m running out of time. Anyone here who has gotten to Ireland for work? Please indicate. I just want to know specific timelines regarding the critical skills permit and visa. Thanks as you respond.

Interesting, there is always a first time ; you could try it and let us know how it goes . But their instruction clearly states to use courier preferably DHL or UPS

Good evening all, please i would like to know how else one can show visa refusals. The visa refusal was from us embassy 4 years ago and i do not have the refusal letter and another from cyprus without letter but stamp on the passport. Will declaring the refusals be enough without official letter? I lost my old passports(2) how do i provide all the pages from previous passports? The current passport has the previous passport number but i do not have the oldest passport number. Is it compulsory to submit all the pages of old passports? Thank you

Thanks for the response mama, I will just use ups to avoid any further talks.

Another question please! I provided a booking confirmation when I applied initially and in my refusal letter one of the reason for denial is “insufficient evidence provided to person the applicant intends to stay within the state” What can I do about this please? Do I need to pay for the booking or what?

I have no idea the address you stated on your initial app and the relationship to the person who lives at the address. so I am unable to provide an answer.

On the application I filled online, in the address field I put in my school’s address and phone number.
For the Application i submitted at vfs, i submitted just the booking application confirmation and nothing else.

I think you should state clearly if you intend to live on campus or outside campus and with the new variant - Everyone should have a solid quarantine plan in place even if you are fully vaccinated.

I'll suggest you contact your school on the possible quarantine measures required by the Irish Government first and possibly wait till 20th dec to see new measures that may be implemented or if Travel ban measures would be lifted first.

I intend to live outside campus!
When I state that in my appeal letter, can I then add the booking reservation confirmation ?

Damn, that's really far. How are you able to commute to school every day? I am in a short-stay apartment, but I need to find my place in the next two weeks.

My school (UL) picked me up from Dublin airport and drove me to my hotel accommodation in limerick. I personally booked a 6 days hotel reservation and also book a post-arrival covid test (with HSE) for day 5 of my hotel accommodation. On day 5, I went and took the test, was negative for covid, on day 6 I left the hotel to my current address in Kerry county.

you don't need to stay in the hotel for full 14 days, as long as you take a covid test 5 days after you arrive

Unfortunately, I tried to get accommodation in Dublin too, but failed to, Dublin is one of the hardest places to get accommodation, and when you do, it's a usually a relatively cheap but messed up accommodation, with 6 people sharing one toilet.

Oh this is terrible! 6 people on one toilet? I got one but the owner of the property refused to rent his house to students because of the experience he has with some of them. So what can we do now?

Use rent.ie or daft.ie to find accommodation close to Dublin

If you venture out of dublin to the outskirts, you will spend more on transportation. I work in Dublin and live on the outskirts of dublin. Daily transportation cost for me is about €15 which comes to about €300 monthly
