Please buy it at the assumed bottom right now. Around 5.55.

This una Gsk stock self.
One thing is to know how to analyse stocks, another thing is to know how to pick a winning stock. The spirit is upon me to prophecy but I will withhold a bit.

Do you think Gsk is among these winning stocks we have been searching for all these while?

No no no! No one ridiculed your thesis. Even Currentprice who is also a brilliant contributor on this forum, and also apparently gives you great respect only politely expressed his own position. We all hold you in a high esteem here. Many or some of us are always waiting to hear from you. That doesn't mean there won't be some people who don't like you for giving us open and clear advice without even speaking in tongues or proverbs. In this world, you will have some enimies.

Pls kindly note that I didn't call out Mr current price.
He simply gave his take on GSK and like every other time when someone had given their views in a constructive and sensible manner, I respect it.
...so that bro has done nothing wrong pls!

I know what I was talking about.
But no point laying too much emphasis on it.
It's a light matter... I am not upset... I have since moved on! Pls do the same. wink cheesy grin

Do take care.

1st mentioned the potential in GSK @ N5+ and I've been buying accross board since then, (beginning of this yr) albeit in spasms.

Now to answer your question: It's simply because I always apply a strategy with every TRADE/INVESTMENT SETUP.

Not for want of not knowing why you asked, but at least I have answered you.

Btw, did you say you bought @N21?
You probably had a long-term mindset then.
Anyway, if we discount the then special div and subsequent dividend accruals you've accumulated since then, your BEP should reverse that figure to N12+ I guess.

Good you've decided to wait it out.
Good luck!

When you login to your account, go to your transactions to see if the purchase went through. If it is not there, it could mean that the price limit you selected was not met that day. The money might have been liened pending when the price limit is met.

But I checked,it showed filled on the order section of the platform and the quantity I indicated that I intended buying automatically disappeared at the bid section.

As I needed money and decided that I want to sell some small fractures to take care of my urgent needs that was when I discovered that CSL stockbroker has not credited my CSCS statement of account.

If they liened the money as you said they should please transfer the money back my to account

I am after detecting a surprising stocks these days.I have two in mind but will disclose one now. This stock traded at 33kobo for weeks and I tried all my possible best to get some units but to no avail.I got it at 39/42kobo after a long wait.May close at 50 or 51kobo today.Still heading upwards and more in 2022

The sector which this stock belongs to will be patronized by PDP, APC etc in 2022 against 2023 election.

This stock is not the type pa Emma Ewumi will like because some banks does not accept it as a collateral stock.

I am not trying to advertise this stock because I have it but because mr market must price it right and has started doing the right thing already like Living Trust is currently doing.

With all I have said concerning this stock, Someone can easily decode the stock.

In case you're searching for BOCGAS, search not further among "B" alphabet, note that the ticker already changed to IMG (Industrial and Medical Gases Nig. Ltd).

** The first two bonuses were cancelled.....

** The last one, 12:9 which was the 3rd was accepted and has been marked down for issuance to all qualified shareholders........reason you saw AIICO @ circa 70.........was marked down and opened @64kobo actually.

The reason you may not have seen it in your CSCS may be due to regulatory issue/approval........once gotten, it will be credited into your CSCS acct.......all things being equal.

Did you say the first two were cancelled. What kind of fraud is that ? And shareholders kept quiet.

It's no Fraud.
Now let me explain why...

Bonuses are not given for FREE.
As I always tell folks; Incentive-wise, it wears more semblance to a share consolidation/reverse stock split (RSS) than it does with a dividend payout.
...it's an EXERCISE that simply involves a company increasing your equity volume and simultaneously reducing your equity price peg by the same discounted proportion, while your overall equity VALUE remains the same. (opposite of a RSS)

So even if they announced that they were going to give a bonus, as long as they did not follow through with the exercise (up vol, drop price) they have not cheated or robed you of any VALUE!

Btw, I always say that there's not much of a big deal to a bonus/script exercise.
It's not necessarily value accretive neither is it particularly an incentive... given the impact it can have on a coys CoE and forward earnings delivery. (dilutive effect in view)
What it does basically, is to increase the belief system on the part of the investors. ...but not as much as when a dividend payment is given.

That said, I understand why you tagged it "fraud" though.
Why announce that you'll give a bonus in the 1st place if you aren't gonna see it through?
For one, some investors may have bought into the hype it brought with it at the time. (play on belief system in view)

Aside the current bonus which I believe may have something to do with the recap guideline by Naicom, I don't think that the last 2 bonuses are even healthy for minority holders. ...it was just a means that the managers/owners wanted to use and "enrich" their grip.
I would be more worried if what was cancelled was an initial dividend declaration but not a bonus.

Bottom line: From a minority investors perspective, a BONUS/SCRIPT ISSUE is not as value accretive as a DIVIDEND PAYOUT. ...the latter is better!

For clarity, AIICO remains a hold from my end though.

The market yet to recognise its value, more than a year now. I did rather keep an eye on it while my money is earning returns elsewhere, till the market begins to show interest.

Did I mention that "Simply Wall St" claims that GSK true value is about 221.4 (97.4% undervalued)?
