This is a good development. We need to put some respect on our names. Anyway ambassadors representing both countries need to discuss on the way forward. |

I remember the time of Murtala Muhammed and Obj regime. Nigeria was a strong actor that even USA and the west were Afraid of her. Now the mighty has fallen. Tit for tat is the only way to get respect in the games nations play. Morality and Diplomacy are not always a means to an end. A little demostration of power is enough to make an rogue to adjust. Well done Nigeria aviation minister. It's a sign of hope that once the giant of Africa, the conqueror of Apartheid, the strength of Africa is actually coming to an age again. We meeveee 1 Like |

There was no justification for UAE to cut Air Peace flights to once a week except for anti-competitive reasons. The FG response though injurious is apt. 9 Likes |

davodyguy:If FG didnt do this UAE+Emirates would have frustrated air peace out of the route. Same tactics they used against arik and medview. Unfortunately the FG then did little to intervene. Sirika's anger then was that nigerian airlines were weak and could not compete effectively. In the case of airpeace they have tried hard to stand out and have made a lot of investments in the sector.Support from FG will go a long way in aiding there growth. 9 Likes 1 Share |
