OgogoroFreak:It is an offer for sale. Why should MTN group sell their holdings in a so called promising company Whereas Airtel Africa just spent N62 billion to buyout minority shareholders in Airtel Nigeria |

emmanuelewumi:Been doing it for over one year The first vehicle cost 1.9. The second, 2.2 and the last 2.4 Two drivers pay 25k weekly. The last one pays 30k which will be reviewed to 25k in January. Each vehicle is expected to bring in a minimum of 200k every 8 weeks. I use one week rentals for servicing and keep another 25k for emergency repairs. The vehicle is mostly trouble free in the first one year. This means that most times, I don't get to use the 25k. Remember I mentioned how important it was to buy right. If you buy the wrong vehicle, the rental has failed before it even started. Now to put into perspective, this is a list of all the maintenance done and money spent on the one bought in July outside of oil changes Brake pad 4000 Tire rod knuckle 3000 Bottom plate 6000 RTV Gum 500 Cabin air filter 1500 Panel beater 2000 Labour 6000 Total 23,000 Lastly, I'm projecting that the vehicle will serve for at least two years before the repairs become too frequent. I would have gotten my money by then and should be able to sell the vehicle at the same amount I bought it with little fixes here and there. I believe I've answered all your questions. |

Itsrm:You started with a car and bought the second car after 9 months. It is not possible for the rental income in 9 months to buy another car for you. After the purchase of the second car, you bought the third car within 4 months. I don't think it is possible for the rental income from 2 cars can buy another car in 4 months. That was why I asked if you got a loan, if yes what is the interest rate on the loan? What is your current equity in the business? What is the current debt? What is your current return on capital employed ie debt plus equity? |

Mohzus:Always follow insiders, when the CEO of Access Bank sold his shares at N9.00 few months after the stock came down to N6. When the insiders of United Capital started accumulating the shares of the company at N5 few months later it is selling for almost N10 |

Itsrm:I understand you because I'm deeply involved in the business and i trust that you know your onion with your narration but stop shoving it, when you tell people your truth and they say it's false, then ignore or only tell them what they want/love to hear. What work for you might not work for them, beside the way it's being done is the enemy of the way it should be done. |

emmanuelewumi:Exactly, thats what I meant by "i invest little". MTN is a big name but till today I dont know the whereabout of my Oceanic bank shares. Nigerian ways of doing things is strange. I am more confident with foreign stocks. |

OgogoroFreak:If you were a real investor, you would know exactly what happened to Oceanic Bank and its shares. Even non-investor types know what happened. Either you are a buffoon or you bought tashere N1000 shares that the registrars no send you (na those N1000 shareholders dey make noise pass). One does not have to be a rocket scientist to guess which one you are… |

emmanuelewumi:Do you know that in many cases, it is this type of thinking that drives the share price down. Access Bank CEO has most of his net worth in Access Bank shares. He wants to buy a house in London for his daughter, sister or side chick. He innocently sells shares to fund the acquisition of the house. People like you will hear that Access Bank CEO has sold shares and will also rush to sell their shares (without knowing why the CEO sold his shares in the first place) and then tell family, friends and foes to do the same. Before you know it, share prices are down and people will now say Access Bank CEO sold his shares because he knew share prices will drop. But in reality, that wasn’t the case. It was rumor mongers that caused that drop with their panic selling based on fake news. Na wa o ![]() |

Lazyyouth4u:His dividend is about a billion Naira per annum, I don't think he would need to sell his shares because he wanted to buy a house Just follow insiders, they sabi road |

emmanuelewumi:A billion is about 2 million dollars. That’s a drop in the ocean if you know what these guys expenses are. These people have to constantly sell shares to raise money for all kinds of projects. It doesn’t have to be personal. It could be for investing in other businesses. Or even philanthropy. Check Microsoft and you will see that Bill Gates is always selling shares of Microsoft. Same as Elon Musk. Most of their net worth is in their companies’ shares. |

Lazyyouth4u:Not in a situation where Wigwe have been increasing his shares for the past 10 years, then suddenly in January 2020 he started selling huge volumes. Wigwe doesn't have to sell his shares in order to settle bills, he can always get credit facilities in Nigeria and abroad based on his credibility |
| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Nobody: 4:51pm On Dec 11, 2021 |
emmanuelewumi:Why would you go for credit facilities when you can simply sell your shares that are worth millions of dollars? ![]() |
| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by emmanuelewumi(m): 4:57pm On Dec 11, 2021 |
Lazyyouth4u:If you know that your shares are underpriced you will borrow against them or use cash flow from your shares rather than selling them Insiders sell their shares when they are overpriced, like what MTN group is currently doing |
