Can't you change institution? Try other schools yet to close registration, rather than going again next year. Best of luck.

At 21, you think you are too old for medical school angry angry angry
When you finally get in, you'll find out that you are not even among the oldest in your class.

Age should be the last thing to stop you..

there is still hope besides many schools have not even started selling putme forms, so you can purchase another schools putme form and try, with a score like yours, you will get it. Especially in schools like Esut

Was surprised at the high cut-off marks for competitive courses despite the cry that JAMB scores were not high this year. Could it be as a result of the merging of two sessions?.

Don't give up just yet. I advice you change your choice of institution to one that is yet to close registration. And if u insist on Unilag, I'll advice u change to a medical course like Radiography or Physiotherapy (you may decide to do interdepartmental transfer later)...
Best of wishes.

Hey man, with all due respect to my person and every honourable member of this thread, I will not tow this path of yours. A path that is uncouth, puerile and infantile. I'm not a pig that will want to swim in this cesspit of yours.

It's baffling to me with great astonishment how some soon to be or prospective medical doctor wouldn't know how to contend an argument with facts and empiricism. If there is a contrary opinion to yours, all you have to do is debunk it with superior facts and argumentation exhibiting respect and courtesy to your opposing colleague. Countering a fact is not with emotion and sentiment or with character assassination; please note.

You brought the qualifications of my humble self to the fore, with a kind of mischievous disposition. For your information and that of Mr. Mandeyy, I graduated from the prestigious University of Ibadan College of Medicine with a second class upper division in Human Physiology, and presently a medical student in same mentioned college. You can corroborate this ascertions of my mine from two of the most distinguished members of this thread Mr. Hopeyemmi66 and Mr. Eben331, that is if your doubt is in the same wavelength like Jesus's disciple, Thomas.

As a good practising Christian, I will keep hoping for your improvement both in life at large and in your prospective medical career in particular. Hoping that you stop acting and throwing tantrums like my three years old nephew when denied one of his most precious candy.

Hey guys, I just entered 200L for MBBS and I know it’s a good thing
But boy, I’m seeing anatomy, physio and Biochem up close for the first time and it’s like I don’t even know anything there.
All my 6 years spent doing physics, chem and bio seems useless whilst facing preclinicals
I’m scared. How will I cope with all of this? What do I do?

The struggle is real. I just finished Preclinicals and I have a truckload of videos that will help you scale through Preclinicals in one piece. I talked about everything I regret not doing and things I did that helped me finish Preclinicals with a distinction. Link to the playlist is here. wink

Sorry about this. That's so close. You have two options. It is either you wait and let Unilag offer you another course (this is if you want Unilag at all costs....lol) and accept the course and prepare for another UTME next year OR you do change of institution to a University whose Post UTME form is not yet out. Many Universities have not released their Post UTME forms. Just make sure you make findings on these schools. Also, don't forget to play your cards well if you are changing to another University.
I wish you the very best.
