My people, GOD DID IT!

A do-not-reply email from cic dropped this morning at 09:39AM and a second one dropped at 09:45AM, I was scared to my bone. I had to sum up the courage to sign in to my account to check. My people, application approved!

I return all the glory to God and say a big thank you to everyone here. You guys kept me busy during the wait because I kept coming here to read the testimonies. I stumbled on this platform in June, 2021 and somehow contacted a few persons whose names were referenced. Of all the people I contacted, @Frankrobbn1 gave me the hope to go on this journey. I kept asking him, Frank are you sure? He may have even been tired of me asking. I just want to say thank you, Frank and may God bless you richly. I am 44 years old just so you know. MBA Universitity Canada West. My School resumption date is January 10, 2022. I applied with my 5 year old daughter. Though hers is yet to be approved, I know it will come.

I watched @Blavkmaann video on youtube where he was celebrating the submission of his term paper and said some words of prayers. While the prayers were going on, I felt the urge to place my hand on my phone. He got to a point where he made this pronouncement “If you’re not in the abroad ….. may the person handling your visa application approve it in the Mighty name of Jesus.” I shouted Amen. The unction was so strong and at that point I knew it was a done deal.

To everyone waiting, yours will surely come. Just find ways to take your mind off it. For those who have been delayed, as I’ve come to learn on this platform, Request for your notes, Re-package and Re-fire.

Hello Timinimi

One major thing you should consider in situations like this is the benefits the proposed course of study will afford you after the completion of your study, cos that is what the Visa officer is actually interested in.. That is why most people that work or do business choose courses that are related to their Job or business..

So chose the course that relates to Agriculture, and also since that is your interest, you will have more than enough reasons to convince the Visa Officer why you wanna study the course.. State how the course relates to your Agricultural business and also most importantly outline the benefits the experience of your study in Canada will afford you as it relates to your business..

For the Master's degree, since you already have a second degree, it will be an uphill task to convince the Visa officer on why you are going for another second degree, even though its not impossible as we have seen several applicants getting their Visa after an admission for a 2nd second degree... If you know you will be able to convince the Visa officer of the reason for another second degree, then go ahead and declare your 1st second degree in your application, if not apply with your Bsc....

Peace

Good morning all...

I am new on this thread, I've been following other travel threads though.

Pls I would like gurus in the house to advice me on the best program to do.

My Bsc is in Biochemistry
I have an MBA
I have been doing a few agricultural work since last year (self employed) and i would like to do a course related to food processing, agriculture and value chain management so that afterwards i can proceed to a PhD.

Since my Masters is a professional degree i cant do a PhD with it.
I need your advice on how to go about getting this Msc admission, the school options and possible funding.

Thank you very much.

You guys have to face up to truth. Some Nigerians have called Ghanaians worse things on nairaland.

This is supposed to be a healthy thread on Nairaland, for Nigerian students planning to study in Canada. Now, given the current challenges Nigerians face in foreign travels, getting visas etc etc, it is understandable that some Nigerians see Ghana as a good option to achieve their Canada travel plans. But some of the comments are completely needless. Can you imagine someone suggesting this morning that Ghanaians will conspire to give you ( a Nigerian) covid, when you don't have one? That is surreal, completely unacceptable.

So my brothers and sisters, continue discussing your travel plans and visa issues, but please don't denigrate any country or anyone in the process. Thank you
Maypearl:
Non-Nigerians are welcome in nairaland if they need help. But you can’t come to our Nigerian platform and be a troll. Mr Wizzzzmike please if you don’t like Nigerians go and create Cediland.

I don’t even know how this guy has not been kicked out nairaland. I’ve gone through his posts and he even calls Nigerians slave. Just take a look at his comments on other nairaland topics

Hello Softalliance

There are many colleges that do not impose payment of tuition before Visa Processing, but many mandate you pay the deposit fee of 1500CAD, which is very affordable for many.. And many have gotten their Visas with paying just the deposit fee...

Peace

You might have to reach out to different schools admission office but Conestoga college requires $1500cad to secure your seat for your program but it is refundable.

Hello Horlajoseph

Since you its a Medical request you have, then just go to the clinic with your request Letter and plead with them that you need to do your medicals before the deadline of Jan 10th, they should get a closer date for you...

But the Jan 7th given you by the clinic is nto a bad dat though, once you do your medicals, the clinic sends the medical results to IRCC latest 2 days after the Medicals was done, which means at most by Jan 9th, your result would have gotten to IRCC, and that is before your deadline...

You can also upload your E-medical sheet to IRCC on the day of your Medicals, via Webform and Email..

Peace

Hello Laborah

You aint gonna pay another tuition after deferring, its the Tuition fee stated in your LOA that you will pay..

And to the refund, I always advise applicants to always read and understand the Refund policies of the school they apply to..

Some schools do not refund any fee paid to them, why some refund but remove $200CAD Administration fee..

So the answer to your question will be gotten from the refund policy of your school...

Peace
Laborah:
Please who is going to NSCC
Please if you defer ur admission please are u going to pay another tuition deposit after the deferal and please do they refund tuition fee

Thanks
Please treat as urgent

Dr Kwadwo Obeng

DR. AKWASI OSEI

DR. PATRICK KWAME-ABOAGYE

You’ll need them soon.

Oga what fake news, I am not a kid, and I have been here since the 3rd of December. I have friends with me that have been here since November because they schooled in Accra. They came here to chill before the ban. Their families sent in their luggages from Nigeria so they won't have to come back to Nigeria. They have been here for more 16 days.
Since 7am we have been at the airport and still they haven't checked in. Taking pictures of their visa and school and stuff and sending to Ethiopian airlines headquarters and waiting for them to respond. So don't talk to me like I don't know what I am saying. I have been here longer than you. Their Nigerian passport says in their system no entry till January 31st. And that restriction has to be taken off the system from the headquarters in Ethiopia before they will be allowed.

Hwfar? Did they finally allow them?
