BIOMETRIC 1st December (Priority TLS Abuja)

On 6th December , I got first NSF mail and additional email requesting supporting work documents (9 years gap study).

7th December documents sent( offer letter, work identity card, payslip, Recommendation letter, NYSC certificate).later I discovered payslip wasn't necessary and even dangerous. Guys, keep your docs simple, if they didn't ask, don't give


Same day acknowledge the receipt of the documents.

8th December, got NSf mail

9th December, UKVI contacted my bank for account statement verification.

9th December, sent mail requesting the status of the visa application. Received response that my file has been escalated.

10th December, hey said they had escalated and will reply within 15 working days. Jeeezzzz

13th December, sent another mail informing them my application is Priority type, and shouldn't take that long. Same day, I got response that decision has been made.

14th December, received mail from TLS" documents ready and will be delivered through DHL,

15th December, 3:15pm DHL delivered passport to me, and there it was, my visa sitting pretty smiling at me.

It's been an emotional journey.

Biometrics was done on 25th November (priority application). Till now it’s still at DMC. I have sent 2 paid mail and made a call through to them. Their response was that a decision has NOT yet been made.

I asked if they need any supporting documents to process my application but they said NO. That they would have mailed me if they need anything.

Yesterday I sent another paid mail to them and I got this. Does it mean it will be worked on or what else do you advise I do.

Be patient and keep on trying from time to time. I experienced the same yesterday till about 7 am this morning. I was able to fill the form this morning.

I asked a question about uploading wrong statement but got no response on here. While applying a wrong statement was mistakenly uploaded instead of the recent, tho the statement is genuine and still have its money intact, it wasn’t what we wanted to upload as we wanted to upload a statement that also include dependant maintenance. It was really worrisome cos I read on here an applicant that got denied cos dependant money wasn’t included in his pof even-though the dependant wasnt going with him immediately.. so I had to latee send a paid mail and also sent the recent statement to Sheffield team even though they didn’t request that from me on the 8th.I also called them on the 12th only to be told the decision was already made on the 9th.
Not sure if they got the mail or not...God is awesome.

Yes. So, I have my unconditional offer since last month and I’ve booked for Pre-CAS interview but the only update I got is “You are on the waiting list”. I don’t know what to do because they said they are closing for the year next Friday.

I have gotten offer from the following school for September 2022 resumption but I confused as to which to go with.. please my major concern is the environment in terms of availability of work and also which course is best to pursue.

Lol why did you apply to 8 universities? Only 4 at most is ideal. Anyway, how I made my own decision:
1. Ranking of the universities
2. Tuition, initial deposit and % of tuition due on enrolment.
3. Location (I prefer London or proximity to).

Remove Middlesex from the list. They barely issue Nigerians CAS. Messed me up earlier for September 2021 intake.

Kingston University, if you want to be around London. It's 30mins from central London and work availability shouldn't be a problem.

If you are okay with the course and cost then I will select Salford cos its in Manchester. Cos bigger city have more options than smaller one. E.g accommodation, jobs,
