He was rude because he had a job Wasted another person's slot He was irritated the minute he got to the company maybe because he had a fallback point. The last time I checked, freedom of speech is every humans right. The guy also has the right to say his mind and express his disappointments and not only the recruiters and interviewers. The guy is not a slave. He's only a job seeker. Yes, the guy was right. How can you delay someone knowing he has an existing job to return to afterwards? And you expect him not to complain? That's bad of them. These recruiting companies always think they are God. Wanting to dictate and Lord things over you and expect you not to complain or react otherwise you'll be tagged, "misconduct or rude" for a job that might not even be worth it at the end of the day. From the email, it is clear the applicant had already rejected their job from the interview stage having heard their salary. The company is just trying hard to hit back at the applicant for embarrassing them.
