I'm new on this thread and I've been searching for a community that can help me grow,at times I feel like I don't fit in this world system which Is actually a good thing even though I found it hard in the beginning,I've lost friends cuz I chose to leave my old ways behind but I'm happy I'm more at peace. It hasn't been easy dying to flesh on a daily but I know with God I have overcome so pls brothers and sisters I would be glad if we can pray for one another and help eachother be better.I am honoured to be part of this thread and hopefully win more souls for God.Stay blessed.

The Lord will strengthen you and help you not to fall. It's not easy to consecrate yourself to God, the world will laugh at you, mock you etc but at the end you will laugh last.

As a believer to survive in this secular world and run the race well, you have to live a righteously strict life and a restricted life.

first of all, to become a genuine born again/believer you need to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal saviour, then confess your sins to God Almighty. Remember that any sin you have committed, no matter the sin, God is able to forgive you from all unrighteousness, our Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross of Calvary for sins, when he died he took all our sins to the cross of Calvary and nailed them there with him, so no matter your sins, you can always ask God for his mercies and for the forgiveness of your sins. its not too late to come back to him, he is calling you his child to come to him no matter the atrocity you have committed in the past times, he is always ready to forgive you and take you back into his kingdom.

Our Lord Jesus Christ said in Luke 5:32 "I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance".

1 John 1:9 says "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"

My mind also wander sometimes when I am speaking in tongues, thinking about my daily activities etc, it's normal, that is the flesh, what you do when your mind does that is you quietly bring your mind back and focus on the prayer till the spirit takes over.

I pray on average 4 hours everyday. 2 hours morning, 2 hours night, some times I don't complete the morning own cause of sleep..
