Worldwide, the Presbyterian church has been having serious decline in membership over a period of time in Nigeria. It's such a pity because the church played a key role in Nigerian Christianity with the likes of Mary Slessor.
The Catholic church came in and swept them away using philanthropic gestures with building schools and free maternal health care.
