I don't know about you, but I have seen 2 different people from different ethnic group became so close to each other, that they both visit each other's family, eat together and spend days together in each other's family house.

I've seen cousins became so closed as well.

Now if 2 strangers can become that very close to each other, what is stopping 2 siblings bonded by a father not to see themselves as brothers and sisters if not stupidity?

The irony of life is that some of us has been brainwashed to see our brothers and sisters from another mother as an enemy and our competitor, and see strangers as friends. Instead of us to extend that hand of friendship we give to strangers to our own blood, we draw sword (and mothers most times are the cause).
