The bomb in all the reports so far is Total Plc.
Eps q3= N15.67k against N3.06k last yr
YTD eps=N39.43k against N1.47k last yr.
Total might get to N55 to N60 eps at the end of the year. For me, they don't have business in sub N500.
This is not a recommendation to buy.

Ogas in the house, Weldone.
I'm new here. I'd like to invest in Nigerian stocks. How do I go about it? Registration, stocks to buy/avoid, things like that.
I'd be grateful if I get the answers I'm looking for.

There is one financial stock I bought at 47kobo about 3 days ago.It has no fundamental.Infact some of us (oga oracle)do say the stock is in ICU.I bought the stock based on history. Some weeks back, the stock were sold off massively and it got to 44kobo which prompted me to raise concern here about it but now I am seeing history repeating itself again this January in that stock.some people who knows about the history of stocks are on it now.The stock closed at 54kobo today and might open 2022 on usual full bid according to history.

In my opinion, I think mid February to March should be the best time to buy.

**Pls note this**
- My opinion is based on past few years observations.
- Each year may come with its own different direction.
- You'll have to create time to do serious monitoring to see the direction of Mr. Market and be able to know when stocks offers bargain and are good for picks.
- Picking may depend on your investment objectives and pocket too .......you can be picking in tranches cos no one can time Mr. Market.

- If I remember any other thing, I go update am. smiley
- Remember this is purely my opinion

I'll go in this order:
Learn Africa, Fidson (though Fidson is not a penny stock again), Courtville, Transcorp.......and maybe UPDC.

** Academy and UPL : Very illiquid.
** Abbey Building: Not very familiar with this. Also illiquid.
** Prestige: Trades in range.
** Wemabank: Wema is good BUT you have to wait till the issue of reconstruction or whatever is sorted out first.

*** REMEMBER: This is strictly my opinion.
*** ALSO NOTE: That you have to time your entry right. Try to pick at bargain prices.
*** ALSO REMEMBER: That Courtville is delisting, you can start picking in tranches. They are yet to announce the buy-out price........once announced and is fair getting cheaper may be a bit difficult by then.

Thank you my brother. I appreciate. On the Courtville delisting, what is your speculative delisting price you envisaged?

When I surfed through internet looking for it’s fair price, I came across 2 American valuation sites with one saying it’s fair price is 58k and the other put it at 179k. When I examined their balance sheet, it book value was 102k. Though, there free cash flow per share as at third quarter was not too strong enough to match the least price mentioned above.

Subjectively, what is your own projection of the buy out price?

I doubt the mgt decision to delete the company will be in favour of shareholders. why d decision now when the numbers begin to look good with good o2 backup embarassed undecided.

the latest report is not enough to push d price to d destination, 2nd half of the year data needed. if they keep the company on nse........ price is likely to rise to N1.1 but if they announce the buyout price soon i expect half of the 1.1 or close to embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed
grin grin grin grin

currentprice:
it risky now except u looking for Loco % gain jijo.
as it is now.... we are at d mecy of the mgt. they can wake up tomorrow to announce 55k as buyout follow by technical suspension

Looking back at LASACO PLC share reconstruction early 2021, was it the same nightmare experience for shareholders like that of SKYE and STERLING? If not why should WEMA bank reconstruction be viewed ominously?

still doesn't make any difference, I read a Reno omokri post about dollar was at #357 as of January 2021 ,you can imagine day nonsense over 200% devaluation against the dollar, when CBN was attacking fintech, some idiots on the thread started praising their actions, citing fintech is one of reason why naira devalues, sometimes I wonder the how people they think, all because they do not have their in dollars , so they started speaking out emotions, even went as far as calling fintechs money launderers cheesy , lol bunch of clowns.
