Good Afternoon Everyone.

Thanks to everyone contributing to this thread.

I have some clarifications to ask concerning a Student Visa Application for my brother;

1. He was offered a Bachelor’s Degree and he got a Visa but he differed the admission.

2. He just completed his Bachelor’s degree here in Nigeria and he plans switching to Msc/College on getting to Canada.

3. I am not sure if while applying for Visa he disclosed whether he was having a Bachelor in-view. Would this be a concern while notifying IRCC on his attempt to switch to Msc/College?
Would it also be a concern in future applications in Canada?

4. Can he mail the IRCC to notify them ahead of his Bachelor’s Degree before leaving Nigeria?

Thank you

My First application was refused in June 2021. I submitted the E-medical sheet I used for my first application wen I reapplied. The medical sheet is still valid.

makano:
Hello Lizabeth

This is another application with a different application number, so it will be passed again for this re-application.

Meanwhile, You didn't state the month your 1st application was refused. Did you re-submit the E-medical sheet given you in your last Medical examination?

A Medical examination is valid for a year, if your Medicals is still valid and you have not submitted your E-medical sheet, you will need to submit it via webform or emails..

If you have submitted and your medicals hasn't been passed yet and your application is beyond the IRCC approved processing time, then you will need to write emails to the respective IRCC offices of Nairobi, Lagos, London and maybe Accra..

Peace

Hello guys!

VFS has asked me to pay for return envelope.

I don't know if paying for one-way courier (return = 16800) to VFS will cover that.

If not, how much is return envelope, please?

I have checked their 'not very informative' website for information, but it hasn't been helpful.

Please anyone ?

My honest opinion would be that you exercise some patience, being that you just submitted your application for a study permit.

Having two intent is okay, although the definition given based on IRCC guidelines on Dual Intent relates to applicant that applies for (1) permanent residence and (2) temporary residence. The guidelines was not specific about applications for two different temporary residence applications, which requires you to leave at the end of the authorised stay.

The question is your intention of entering Canada, which I believe is to study, so relax and be hopeful that this one comes positive and to avoid refusal based on dual intent concerns by the visa officer.

I am not discouraging you to apply, but I think you should hold on.

All the best!
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by makano: 5:49pm On Jan 04, 2022
Hello Horlajp

This depends on you though, what exactly do you want?
To study in Canada or to just visit Canada?

With your last statement, it shows you wanna Japa which is very relatable. But I will advise you calm down, I see desperation written all over your post, and I won't advise you show this by applying for a visiting visa when you have a study permit application still ongoing..

Both Visa applications are temporary applications , so why apply for 2 different temporary visa applications at the same time?

I will advise you exercise patience till when your study permit is concluded which may be approved before you shoot your shot for a visiting Visa application....

Peace

It’s PPR for my daughter.

It dropped around 2:30 PM but I saw it around 5:00 PM when I was setting up for the NSO.

So, I decided I will not let IRCC rest until they borrow themselves brain and approve my daughter’s application. My application was approved on December 15, 2021 so why was my daughter’s own still hanging?

I started sending mails from mid night and set alarm for hourly reminders. I sent mails to as many IRCC email addresses including Lagos and Abuja. Note I used “URGENT - Application number” as subject. Before today, I used just URGENT. For whatever reason, I decided to add the application number to the subject make dem no talk say e hide for the body of the email.

At 11:37 AM Lagos pleaded with me not to send further emails in order not to fill their mailbox that my mails have been forwarded to the office handling my daughter’s application. That really cracked me up. I shared it with my friend and we were both laughing about it.Tor! I sha told her that they will know no peace until they borrow themselves brain and finalize my daughter’s application.

I stopped disturbing Lagos because my friend said dem fit block me but I just gave them some respite since they had begged but kept sending hourly mails to other IRCC emails. I got busy from 2PM putting up a surprise birthday party for my colleague. It was around 5PM when I was setting up for my NSO I realized that Abuja sent me an email at 2:31PM notifying me that the office processing my daughter’s application sent me an “important letter” and at about 2:32 PM the email from CIC had dropped.

I logged in and there the passport request letter was.

You know what? I had made up my mind that I was going to disturb the living hell out of them today.

Sorry it’s coming now because I had to attend the live session of the NSO. The afternoon session starts in 5 minutes.

God will do it for all of us. I bless God for this family. I love you all.

God did it and it ended in praise!

Kankanio:
My people, GOD DID IT!

A do-not-reply email from cic dropped this morning at 09:39AM and a second one dropped at 09:45AM, I was scared to my bone. I had to sum up the courage to sign in to my account to check. My people, application approved!

I return all the glory to God and say a big thank you to everyone here. You guys kept me busy during the wait because I kept coming here to read the testimonies. I stumbled on this platform in June, 2021 and somehow contacted a few persons whose names were referenced. Of all the people I contacted, @Frankrobbn1 gave me the hope to go on this journey. I kept asking him, Frank are you sure? He may have even been tired of me asking. I just want to say thank you, Frank and may God bless you richly. I am 44 years old just so you know. MBA Universitity Canada West. My School resumption date is January 10, 2022. I applied with my 5 year old daughter. Though hers is yet to be approved, I know it will come.

I watched @Blavkmaann video on youtube where he was celebrating the submission of his term paper and said some words of prayers. While the prayers were going on, I felt the urge to place my hand on my phone. He got to a point where he made this pronouncement “If you’re not in the abroad ….. may the person handling your visa application approve it in the Mighty name of Jesus.” I shouted Amen. The unction was so strong and at that point I knew it was a done deal.

To everyone waiting, yours will surely come. Just find ways to take your mind off it. For those who have been delayed, as I’ve come to learn on this platform, Request for your notes, Re-package and Re-fire.

Hello gurus in the house,

Please I need your advice. I saw a sponsored ads on Facebook about Canada Jobs. It also captioned that the company will sponsor the visa. I picked the number and chatted on WhatsApp. I was asked to send my CV to their email and after 24hours, I was mailed that my qualifications met their requirements. I was offered job as a Drill Engineer for the Oil and gas company. I was later sent Temporary Residence Visa Form to fill as well as Labour Market Impact Assessment(LMIA) form and Job agreement letter(that have in it that I will be responsible for the biometrics fee while other cost till arrival will be handled by the company). I filled and signed where necessary and returned them with my International passport as requested.

After few days, I was mailed to send the LMIA , Visa Form and my International passport to the lagos embassy of Canada through the email they gave (lagos@vfsglobal.g-c.online, so as to book my biometrics. I did as instructed and after few hours, got a mail from the said lagos embassy mail that my documents have been reviewed and i should proceed to pay for my biometrics through the payment link supplied so I can be given date for the biometrics. The biometrics fee is $116 CAD and processing fee is $91 CAD, bringing total to $207 CAD which amounted to #66,549.89 or pay same into one CEDI SIGNAL ZENITH BANK account and send receipt to them.

I am confused as to being real or not which is the reason I seek your genuine and honest advice.

Thanks.
