tnks bro I really appreciate

My greatest fear is I have this gift of my dreams coming to reality which is the main reason I became very scared

I hv this gift of God communicating to me through dream and any time I see something good or bad in my dream it do come to past

This is what grew my suspicion and doubts which made me to start seeking for answers from various men of God which the response turn out to me negative pointing at one direction with different interpretation

But I thank God for bringing up hinderances which now turn out to be redemption in disguise

God always answers, one way or another,
even when people don't recognize his presence. "In a dream, for instance, a vision at night, when men and women are deep in sleep, fast asleep in their beds— God opens their ears and impresses them with warnings
To turn them back from something bad they're planning, from some reckless choice
— Job 33:14-18 MSG

I'm glad others have in their sincerity giving you counsel. I'd just like to add this, given that even after this case you're still going to have to "find" a wife.
Colossians 3:15 admonishes that we let the peace of God be an umpire in our heart. In times like this (times of make or marr decision) I spend my time away from "other voices" (Media, other people etc) and search my heart, waiting and testing each opinions that come from it with the scriptures. The spirit of man is the candle of God, searching the depths of him (his soul)

Truly, counsel in the heart of man is like deep well but a man of understanding will draw it out. Wise opinions (even from hallowed people) may not be wisdom that is profitable to you. Let the peace of God be your referee even more than all the dreams, opinions and counsels you have received.

Here's my 2kobo. I hope it meets you well.

Shortly before the inaugural match of this year's AFCON, I'd like to dedicate this post to those of our fallen comrades who couldn't be here with us today. Namely, Tbaba1234 who unfortunately succumbed to illness last year. May his unwavering support for our darling eagles be an inspiration for all Nigerian football lovers!

Rest easy Baba!!!

My little observations from this video shows how slow the team is in defending set-piece.

First, they all anticipated the free kick to be overhead, and their reaction after the ball went through the wall of defence was very slow. Henry Onyekuru, standing in the wall swiftly broke off to tap in with nobody to give chase. Only for them to raise hands for offside when he was more alert than the wall of defense & the goalkeeper.

Secondly, the goalkeeper (Uzoho) would have done better using his leg to clear the ball to safety some keepers do that a lot but instead he wanted to stand up and save the ball but was slow from his reaction . The team needs to be mentally alert to every opponent present or movement in their box at all time. Their anticipation & decision making must be quick.
In tournament, team cohesion matters a lot & stroke of luck. They may be brilliant individually but as a team, they will conquer.

We still never solve this Setpieces issue at the turn of a new decade!??

We better not carry such to WC

Ikenga is not actually the physical representation of uk "chi."

In fact , Ikenga is more prominent in the Northern Igbo or Nri-Awka areas. The Southern Igbo are ignorant of the house deity.

Ikenga is usually for men of Ozo title or Nwanyi Odu ( women with ivory traditional titles).
OH I never knew it's not a practice that is common throughout Igbo land. First read about it in Chinua Achebe's books. So what then is the ikenga? It is usually buried with a man once he dies right?

Good afternoon bro. I salute your courage in sharing a personal issue on a public forum like this but as they say a problem shared is one half solved..

I'm no relationship expert but at the end of the day a successful marriage is one where the two of you love, respect, understand and share the same belief system. If your intended checks all the boxes then you really have to do what's best for you.

Spiritually speaking I'm glad you said you are a christian and the scripture tells me no one can declare unclean what God almighty has made clean so anyone trying to stop you from marrying your girlfriend based on where she's from is unfairly stereotyping her. If her behavior hasn't raised any red flags then you should do what's best for you. More importantly I think you yourself should engage in reflection and prayer for God to reveal why most people are seeing bad things regarding this proposed union. I believe the lord is able to reveal everything hidden under the sun.

In the I perfectly understand why you would be wary going against your relatives especially, if they are against the union, but at the end of the day you are the one who will live with the woman so let your happiness be paramount.

Will be praying for you and wish you a blessed and fulfilled marriage whenever you decide to walk down the aisle. Don't fret boss God is in control.

tnk you boss I really do appreciate

Yes, I am though I was born a Catholic, and sent to the best Catholic and one of best secondary schools in Nigeria "Order of the Monks - Marist Brothers" just so I could be taken away from my traditional roots because they saw the signs even before my birth. Lol I started serving mass in the Catholic church as a little kid and I served till I left the university( I can still serve till tomorrow, if I wish to because I love it), but then, I knew who I was all along. I love the Catholic church due to its doctrines that somehow align with the teachings of African traditional religion.

I'm not one who trashtalks other religions but I still Accord Christianity its respect because of the Catholic Church.

I just love the traditional way of life where I observe my Chi, Ndi mmiri( what you call the marine world), Ajala(mother Earth), anyanwu na Agbara, onye uwa(incarnate) and others.

Make peace with your Chi and your heart will know enormous peace.
Go on my brother. I Used to be a staunch Christian but I abandoned it five years now and I found peace. I'm not a traditionalist but I strongly believe - like the Igbo concept of Chi-that God is within everyone of us.
Though I would have loved to ask more questions, let me pause it here so I don't derail the thread.

I have watched football long enough to know a good goalkeeper when I see one. The boy haven't made any outstanding save in the national team while he conceeds cheap goals against Sierra Leone and Liberian home based players.
Maduka will be terribly exposed when he moves to Watford. He should have rejected that move if he had sense.
Maduka is not a good goalkeeper. He has a good stature for excellent goalkeeping but he hardly makes saves in the GWG. Maybe he will improve but as at now, he's mediocre

I read he passed away last year. He was based in England. I would like to reveal more info but I don't want to divulge his family name. May he RIP

You posted this on November, last year while Tbaba also posted something same month, which other last year are we talking about here?

Could it be that Tbaba was the the same person as Suya of Cyber Eagles who died sometime in November last year?

Chinua Achebe is also from Nri-Awka areas.

Ikenga is best described as a personal deity for titled and influencial of the society, in precolonial northern Igbo land. Its not a community deity with a shrine where everybody worship. In fact , Ikenga is a feature of affluence.

A
Akpeyi is a decent goalkeeper.

I don't know what you expect, but he is decent. Even the great Enyeama had his own gaffes as our keeper, so, what are you on about?

I think some of you have a warped idea of the scorelines Nigeria used to have and that is why you constantly attack some of these goalies. Even Ezenwa, as shaky as he was, was a decent goalkeeper for us.

The only true calamity we have had between the sticks in recent times, is Agbim.
Goalkeeping is not one area where we should make do with 'decent' goalkeepers. Decent in this case means not too good, not too bad. At least if we cannot have excellent goalkeepers, let's have good goalkeepers.

Enyeama was a solid goalkeeper. In fact in my estimation, he's the best we've ever had. He let in goals ooo but God knows he made so many crucial saves in many matches to save our blushes.

Carl Ikeme is also one goalkeeper who would have gone on to do great things for us. One thing I liked about him was his instinctive sense of positioning. In fact I credit Carl as being responsible for our WC qualification in Russia because in our first match against Zambia, he made so many saves and that put us early on track to qualify.

The thing with Maduka is that he rarely makes crucial saves. Once an attacker beats our defense, fiam, na goal be that.
He's young, so I hope he improves.
