I think his expectation plays a role on his bias.

If you go through the comment, you'd find him saying he never expected that from Ajayi
, meaning he doesn't even watch these guys but have a fixed mindset that they should play this way and that's what he's using to judge Sadiq too.

I think that's why most commenters here usually tell him to watch players first before writing comments about them or he should stick to the EPL players since those are the players he watches more.
It would be better to qoute the specifics of what I have said, when you refer to me. It seems you have intended to misinform and misdirect ,to support your own prejudiced opinion.

I specifically said I did not know Ajayi was that fast, that's the key attribute.

When players are really tall, because they have a very long stride it gives the impression they are slow. But when you see that stride next to a player who is not so tall you will notice sometimes 2/3 strides to one stride of the much taller player. Thats what I noticed and reviewed my opinion of him.

Having pace as a defender is a very good attribute to have. I could add that Ajayi isn't tall fit nithini he scores be a lot of headers from set pieces by and has clear aerial dominance.

That's what Nff proposed, if Austin performs well, he will continue as Coach, with Peseiro as his TA
Too late. The decision has already been made. Peseiro will be our next coach. Eguavoen would return to his former role as nff technical adviser

Anything that would make Eguavoen take SE to finish in top 3, he should be trusted with taking the team to Qatar, just like the late Keshi was trusted after 2013 triumph.

I like Rohr's 2018 for some reasons especially ease of playing, but Franco-German don bam. The fact that Eguavoen's teammates are even supporting is proof that this time, things are expected to be different.

Dennis is definitely no sleeping well. We not even unleashed Onyeka yet o.
You want them to start owing him like they owed keshi and amodu. Too late

Omoh Sanusi wey keep Salah at Bay for most part of the game??

Man, I can't even find a weak link in the starting eleven

The front pressed well(Ralf should learn from Austin the art of gen gen pressing)

The midfield were compact

Defence impressed me especially Kenneth.
Salah was roaming and was not restricted to the right wing. Coming down the middle even the left on occasion.

To say Zaidu kept Salah at bay you would have to say many times he went one on one with Salah.❓

The midfield worked over time Ndidi in particular with Moses and what they did was to block of the supply to Salah. And in the few occasions he did , we double teamed him. Omeruo was active coming out of defence to block of any supply to Salah good anticipation.

He rarely if at all got the opportunity to go one on one with anybody. It was a tactical masterclass ,he was denied space and access to the ball.

So your analysis is far from factual.

Yeah Nwakali should be the last person you bring on when your back's against the wall. Kelechi should be eased into a game when we are well untop or leading comfortably.

To be fair to Eguavoen the Egyptians were beginning to advance forward so maybe he thought Nwakali could provide a long ball to the forwards.
Long ball for me is not a particular outstanding skill if you even want to call it that

Go to Non league and you will find the game is played on long ball a lot of the time.

I am sorry anybody can do long ball, you are trying to rationalize the irrational. You have Iwobi and Onyeka on the bench and you bring in mediocrity. You know that anyone who plays in the EPL will have to have high stamina and a good work rate particularly in Everton and Brentford.

I think Moses wayward crosses has to do with his weak left foot. He might be better crosser with his strong right foot.
Is that acceptable ❓

This is the difference from playing in smaller club and league. Aina was able to take a shot from outside the box with his left foot. And he is right footed.

There is no excuse he needs to add to his skull set or he will not progress to a higher level.

Equatorial Guinea have failed to take their chances to be honest.

They've threatened Ivory Coast's backline more times than CIV have threatened theirs

See another better ball they just wasted. Egypt no see Okoye reach as Equatorial Guinea forwards don see CIV Keeper, so their midfield must not be as solid.

Rashford who is from a top English academy still makes the same mistake. I think we can excuse Simon. He had to make most of those decisions with his weaker foot. It is difficult.
You are supposed to be appraising a players Moses S. performance and his failings with wrong decision making and an inability to make a basic accurate cross.

And your response is, Rashord makes the same mistake ( that's not even true) Wow !!! Therefore according to your rational it's OK. Chei.

Omeruo was too good yesterday. Hopefully, he is not injured.

However, Awaziem tested positive prior to the match.

That's how teams improve.

You claim to be a pro in football but say things that are shocking.

Did you see Joe Hart give diagonal long balls in City? They were atrocious.

Did you see the long balls given by Ekong with with accuracy? Are you telling me all non league players can do that?

Sometimes you baffle me.

Did you watch Ramos long balls when he played for Madrid in the midfield under Ancelotti? They were so terrible Ancelotti raised his hands in disgust.

But here you are trying to sell it as normal.

Watch Laporte's debut and tell you non-league boys can pull it off.

Please it is not a long ball. It has a lot to do with watching out for spaces and the timing must be accurate. Not a long ball. It goes in a diagonal direction.

Eguavoen has said it all but am surprised seeing some trying to defend Sadiq performance but it was obvious he didn't bring any synergy to the team....the same thing Ejuke who I rate highly nothing special about him against Egypt...Nwakili came in and his presence was not felt....Chuckwueze damn too poor and need to sit on the bench in the next game.

Kudos to Maduka,Aina,Omeruo,Sanusi and Ekong, they did well...Ndidi brought his A-game. for the first time in GWG..Aribo classic...Iheanacho proved once again that he is the best GWG finisher...Awoniyi did his job well, possibly we are not going to miss Osimehn much...Simon did well.

Eguavoen should maintain his XI with exception of Chuckwueze with Iwbi coming in,we need to see Olayinka even as a sub...it seems Onyeka is a direct replacement for Ndidi in case but I thought he should have come in as sub against Egypt.

Good game from eagles.
Nwakali had an immediate impact, he almost gave an assist and his passes were on point, the technical crew really tried, from team selection to the substitution everything was just on point.
