Looks like these people are going Wilder.

I got such message the other day.

I wonder they kind of people they employ.

To think that some nairalanders maybe their staff.

They are debt collectors the companies contract to recover bad loans.

I am 155% sure it is from LCredit.
I still can't forget how that idiot was threatening my father when we had a phone conversation.
These people that are shouting pay your debt on Nairaland are just unreasonable. There is a better way to recover loan other than sending useless message to people who aren aware of the loan

Even here Nigerians dnt like to pay debt, my guy borrowed 85euro since last April for my hand and avoid me up till now, because of 85euro! me self kuku ma lockup. Pay ur debt stop running in case of next time. But why sending messages to innocent people, cash the fucking debtor not their friends.

HELLO,

KINDLY PAY BACK URGENTLY. THE MONEY BELONGS TO A DEPOSITOR WHO MAY BE ON THIS PLATFORM. IT IS SOMEBODY'S MONEY

Imagine receiving a call that a person I know very well owes a debt.
You will realise that we dont know what people are really going through

How do you suggest they recover loans in the range of 10-50k?

I do not support the loan companies sending these messages but I understand why they're sending them. Nigerians don't like paying debt they owe. A typical Nigerian would owe you money and start avoiding you when it's time to pay up and if you happen to corner them they'd have one story or another to bore you with as though you don't have your own stories to tell.

I now don't lend anybody money anymore. if you ask to borrow from me and I'm moved to lend you the money I'd simply tell you I don't have the money then send that money I was moved to lend you to my mum. That way at least I know I've done some good with the money rather than stressing myself when it's time to get the money back.
shut up my friend. If your assertion were right, why are there currently over 200 loan shark apps on playstore?
What evidence do you have that Nigerians default on repaying debts more than any other citizen anywhere else on earth?
Do you have any idea how much an average American you see dancing on Tik tok is owing?

If you send message that somebody is owing you money, there is nothing bad in it. But it becomes something else when you start saying the person is unreasonable, bad, borrow money from many loan companies, etc.

That's defamation and criminal

One that calls me quite often ontop money matter, to discharge him I gave him the money he asked for. He said he will return it in a week.
This is over 1 year now.
Important thing is that no more bothering calls as he is avoiding me.

These Loan sharks are unreasonable and disgusting In their debt recovery but Nigerians don't make it easier for them.

The average Nigeria will not pay back loans if you keep asking nicely

The stupidest thing I've ever done was to lend money to someone who had previously told me in the past in one of our conversation that he doesn't returned any money he borrowed from people. But I went ahead and lend him money thinking he is a changed person. I saw hell, he never paid me back.

Collecting loans from this app isn't a do or die thing, you should have gone to your family for money instead if they will not tell you stories of their lives...but instead this loan app gave you loan and for you to repay back becomes a big issue now. when you were chilling with the money ehn didn't come to nairaland to inform us o!. carry your cross biko and go and settle ya self abeg
