Sorry about this. Did you get the refusal as an email or as a letter when you picked up your passport?
touyin:

The decision
I have refused your application for a visit visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the
requirements of paragraph(s) V4.2 of Appendix V because:
 You state in your application that you wish to visit the UK as a tourist and you are
employed in Nigeria with a monthly income of NGN151423.81 (£266.72).
 You state that you have no other income or savings and indicated that you have
£1500 available to you for your trip. However, this is 5 times your monthly salary
before any expenditures. You also stated that your husband will support you
financially for the duration of your visit. However, when processing your application, I
have to take into consideration your own circumstances when making my decision. I
note that you have provided bank statements in your name showing a positive
closing balance. However, the statements show unknown transfers and credits
coming into the account. From the information provided, I have been unable to
establish the source of these funds and that they are available to you for your own
personal use.
 As such, from the information provided, I am not satisfied that you have provided an
accurate portrayal of your current personal and financial circumstances nor satisfied
that your intentions to visit the UK are as stated and that you will leave at the end of
your visit.
 In light of all the above I am not satisfied that you will leave the UK at the end of your
visit; are genuinely seeking entry for a purpose that is permitted by the visitor routes
and have sufficient funds to cover all reasonable costs in relation to your visit without
working or accessing public funds. Appendix V4.2 (a) (c) and (e).

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by cutebear: 11:57am On Jan 18, 2022
It depends on the reason for the approval. Some issues can be addressed immediately while some will require waiting over 6 months. You can post a screenshot of the refusal mail so that we can assist.

Wow! So sorry about this. Kindly post the refusal email so the team can collectively advise on the corrective actions and timeline to reapply.

The first two weeks were filled with celebration and all of a sudden there's a rush of rejection emails. This is really sad. I pray that this shall be the last of such and when you all reapply, it shall be approved and for the others waiting, it shall be a rush of good news and congratulations. May the Lord see our sincerity and purity of heart and answer all our prayers. Henceforth, it shall be a rush of approval emails for all genuine visitors.

Hi Touyin, did your husband provide his bank statements and payslip to support you as the sponsor? Including a letter of sponsorship.
Honestly, a budget of GBP1,500 (depending on the number of days you plan to stay there) is okay but the ECO is now comparing that to your monthly salary. Although, people who earn 150k are still given visas. Especially since your husband can be the full sponsor of the trip.
Also, there are unexplained deposits in your account. The source of these deposits could've been explained in a cover letter.

I'm going to request for a refund of the priority fees.

Relative submitted 3 months bank statement with about 300k bank balance and documents confirming ownership of different property across Nigeria. UK sponsor myself submitted 3 months payslip with 2 months bank statement showing balance of around £15,000.

Good day everyone!!

My sponsors lives in the U.S. is it possible for them to pay my school fees in dollars straight to the school rather than send the money to me in Nigeria?
Will confirmation be faster?
Also do I need to prove that the fees came from my account when applying for visa ?

Thanks.

Good day house,
This is the message I got for NSF, during application, I submitted my some pictures, marriage certificate for our marriage evidence. Please, what again do they want us to submit, please help

This was what they sent : please provide further evidence of your relationship to the main applicant as you have only submitted a marriage certificate dated 10/07/2021. The fact you have demonstrated your marriage took place doesn't act as independent corroboration you are in an ongoing, subsisting relationship.

Conversation history, hotel stays, flights, pictures should be dated, try to show a robust overview of your relationship over an extended period. Not just recent photos but old photos. Records of gifts etc.

People have transactional marriages so a marriage certification isn't enough. Make it detailed and put dates and locations. Ensure you include photos of yourselves with other friends and family as well and make sure you include old ones (if any); not just recent ones.

I'm so sorry about this cry See how short your refusal letter is sef. That means they didn't even find many reasons to deny. From what I can see o, the ECO is just being wicked. They just pretended like they didn't see your savings account and your cover letter because this refusal makes NO SENSE at all!!!

congrats dear successful applicant,
Whilst, I acknowledge that there is no UK immigration rules that states a specific duration or amount for which an applicant's financial documents must be for a standard visitor visa, suchlike, 3 months is not mentioned, even though your relative has just had a successful application with that.
Some applicants have shared on here, bank statement for 3 months was submitted and were denied on the basis that their financial documents were not sufficient to determine their financial status.
Perhaps, it would not have been nonsense to you or the applicant, if he/she did not compliment his/her application with a sponsor's bank statement of 2 months with and a balance of £15,000 as quoted by you.
Your relative demonstrated that (s)/he merits the visa she applied for and was issued one. But the over-emotions are not necessary.
Thanks and wish your relative a wonderful visit.

I called UKVI today. The said that my application is awaiting a decision. I asked the guy what that means and he said it means that my application is being reviewed and they are going through the evidences in order to make a decision. I wonder how long this review will take
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Oneguy03(m): 3:36pm On Jan 18, 2022
Thanks for this detailed response. The circumstance however is that the application is based on an invitation for a wedding. Does this make any difference on these things I need to consider?
AmeliaT:
6 months statement is ideal.
I won't say there's an exact amount you need to have in your account but do consider SIX things.

1. Length of stay. Let's imagine it is for 10 days.
2. Daily means of substinence. Something we ignore is that a lot of European countries have an amount they expect the average genuine tourist to spend per day based on the country of visit's standard of living- This includes accomodation, food, transport and basic entertainment. Let's say this is 100 Quid for boarding, food, transport and entertainment. It could be less if you're staying with friends. This brings your budget to 100 x 10= 1000 Quid.
3. You need to add your flight. On average, you can get a return for 600 Quid.
4. This brings the total cost of the trip to about 1600 Quid. The embassy uses Oanda Converter as their reference point for exchange rates. So, the total comes to N893, 735. Circa- 900,000 NGN.
5. You then declare whatever this amount is on your form as your intended holiday spend, now here is the tricky part. Many people will then ensure they have N1M in their account but the ECO rejected a friend for this and said that once the cost of trip is taken out, she wouldn't have enough to sustain herself upon her return to Nigeria and that nobody would clear 90% of their savings for a trip and as such he doesn't think it genuine that she intends to return. So, the advice I would give is to have 2-3 times the budget in Point 4 within the account.
6. Watch Outs; it would be more authentic if this money already exists with your accounts and is not being inflated at the last minute. So, depending on your earning power/potential and current state of account, you may need a few months to build this up organically.

I know people who got approved with about 2K GBP in their account whilst others with 7k GBP got disapproved. The important thing is to have a consistent thread that runs through the application that shows the ECO you are a genuine tourist with no desires to abscond as you have a productive life in Nigeria and you can genuinely afford the trip while there and will not seek public funds for any reason whilst returning to base promptly.

All the best!
