tosynn007:Yes. People have used sponsors based in abroad and submitted foreign statements of account. So you're free to do same. As NSE isn't functional again based of trends so far, you don't need to worry about MBS again. Just let your sposnor submit a valid and verifiable statement of account. |

Chechem:Hello Chemchem Sorry I will have to use question to answer your question. First, are all these sponsors related to you like parents, siblings or are they 3rd party sponsor's like aunt's, uncle's and friends. Now putting yourself as the VO, if you have your 3 siblings willing to sposnor you, it will be more convincing to the VO that your parents and or siblings are coming together to sponsor their child or sibling in education which can easily be believed and accepted. But when you have three 3rd party sponsors coming together to sponsor you, I will be frank with you, VO will see it as you have gone to gather funds for DEMONSTRATION PURPOSE. To even use a single 3rd party sponsor for an application is hard to prove not to talk of 3 third party sponsors. |

Good day all, to the Gurus on this platform, a thousand salute to Y'all for the selfless work you do. I already have a BSc in Biology but I applied for a post secondary diploma program in fashion design using my WAEC I was offered admission for Fall 2022. Tuition due date is February 1 My questions: 1. Fees: How or what method of payment will I use to beat the deadline (1st Feb) and get a good exchange rate. 2. POF: I have not built a strong one, can I apply for study permit later (like in May) and get a response before Sept. 3. Someone is supporting with my 1st year tuition. Should I have it sent to my account and I do the payment & or ask the person to pay directly to the school and then stand as my sponsor? Thanks @makano @lekiboboe @justmellow @ketima @frankrobbn @lianna20 |

Ketima:Thank you very much for the reply. 1. The most important factor is the cost. the province is also important but the cost of living and tuition fees is the first factor I am considering. 2. I mean is there any resource(website or guide) you could share with me that you think might help? |

How do I inform IRCC that I have deferred my admission ?? Please someone should help |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Legacyedition: 5:56pm On Jan 23, 2022 |
themankelechi:What I meant is that, it is after eligibility is passed that VO sends Medical request. Also you won't see this in your mycic account, it will be in your gcms note. Eligibility was just not updated by the deciding officer. |

Please, for those who booked their medicals via IOM, did you have to make payment at the bank counter at SCB, or an online payment sufficed? I'm asking because the payment instruction requires me to use my passport number as reference number, which the online transfer does not allow me put in such detail. Any help here? Thank you. |

Good evening, I'm new here and still reading through the previous threads. Pls I want to ask a very important question, has anyone here (in the last one year) applied for a study visa( post- graduate) with their dependents (spouse and 2 kids) and was successfully? Thanks |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by olasubomy: 6:56pm On Jan 23, 2022 |
flossboss:UNB does not include tuition fees on the same letter of acceptance document, but they send estimates of the cost of attendance ( tuition fee + living expenses) on a separate page. You can merge that tuition fee page with your letter of acceptance and submit it. The admission officer should have sent you an estimate. The approach I used for mine was I made sure my university where I did my first degree sent to the admission office the official transcript they needed. With that, I was issued an updated letter of acceptance (i.e. unconditional letter), and I submitted just that letter with my proof of funds. But if you can, make some part payment and attach the receipts ( you will get your receipts from your UNB student portal) that scores you more points. The good side about UNB is they won't bother you with the fees until classes start, so you have some time to plan to make payment before the tuition fee deadline. Still, the most crucial part is proofing to the visa officers that you have sufficient funds available for your studies. All the best! |

flossboss:J don't know if the rules have changed, but I know my 2017 admission letter did not have tuition fees included. I found out the tuition on the school website and wrote it on the cic form and in my SOP. However, 2017 is slightly far and rules may have evolved since then. All the best. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Osemigho: 7:18pm On Jan 23, 2022 |
tosynn007:Sure you can submit international account. However, you must prove how your sponsor accumulated the funds and your relationship to the sponsor. All the best. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Osemigho: 7:22pm On Jan 23, 2022 |
Chechem:Yes you can, but it will be technically too much documentation to prove their income source and your relationship to them. Considering that visa officers are already biased against Nigerian applicants, I won't advise anyone to have more than 2 sponsors. It can easily be interpreted as poor or limited financial assets. All the best. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Osemigho: 7:31pm On Jan 23, 2022 |
gustav25:It is plan and post like this that make visa officers to not trust Nigerian applicants and documentation. You plan fraud and publicly post about it. Stop fraud! Stop destroying the opportunities of future applicants. |
