Why not, she is legally married to a Nigerian man, so she is a Nigerian ... She can be a commissioner

Yes she can be appointed as one. So far she's capable and competent. Our Nationals in diaspora are being appointed into various government positions without disdain.

You getting it all wrong. This woman is Swiss married to an anambra guy, and she knows soo much about the igbo culture than a lot of igbo guys here. She promotes the igbo brand anywhere she goes. Your majority talk about most igbo men aspiring to marry white women is trash. Don't start this your nonsense tribal games, it is stale.
KanoFirstSon:

Why no comment? Igbos and hypocrisy and their worship for the white man or anything white. Never seen a tribe with such high inferiority complex. Down to marriage sef,Majority of igbo men aspire to marry a white lady.it even boils down to hunting for very fair Nigerian girls.
So there are no other women married to Nigeria men that can be recommended for any political position in Anambra? Is it because na oyinbo woman? What if the was a sweet black Kenyan or a Malawian? Should they have recommended her? See the way una inferiority complex dey ooze like ogiri. Ikon Allah

Despite the fact that igbo language is very difficult to learn, she speaks it perfectly & understands igbo tradition

So because she speaks and understands Igbo tradition, she should be given appointment?

But you will be the first to post information about Nigerians that are elected into political offices in foreign countries. And continue to sing thier praises of how they have made Nigerians proud.

I dont have any thing against any foreign looking person holding public office , as long as they are Nigerian citizens, either by marriage or naturalization.
As long as they meet the criteria as a Nigerian citizens, then they can enjoy all the benefit that is due to Nigerians . It's only if she is not yet a citizen of Nigeria, then we can raise alarm ,since it's unconstitutional.

However, that position, commissioner for Culture and tourism should have been given to an Indigenous person that has the capability to do the job . While she should have been made "commissioner of environmental" or something like that .

In summary, as long as she has the Nigerian passport and appreciate our culture and people , then she has every right that we Nigerians have in this country.Including being elected or selected into public service.
You want Nigerians to come for your head Abii??

Why are the ibos plaqued with low self-esteem such that they seek needless validation from anywhere possible?

Are there no blue blooded, thorough bred Anambra women who can be appointed to serve the state?. Bianca was denied the chance to pick up a ticket to serve just because she was only married to Ojukwu, therefore considered unfit to represent Anambra in any capacity. But a foreign woman with a white skin is hypocritically being mooted as deserving of an appointment to serve over an average Anambra woman who is looked down upon as a slave. Little wonder ibo women are an object of oppression, humiliation and dehumanization in their marital homes.

You are the one that is actually suffering from inferiority complex. If a Nigerian Nationalizing and getting government appointment in Spain USA and other foreign countries isn't because those countries have inferiority complex towards Nigeria, then why should one of their own Nationalizing and getting government appointment in Nigeria be because of inferiority complex? The inferiority complex that you think of actually exist in your mind.

You are actually the one with inferiority complex, the Nigerians getting appointments in western countries worked for it, their dossier and accomplishments speaks for them, they were not given appointments because they speak american English or dress like them or married them

None of you defending her here has given anyone important reasons why she should be given the appointment only that she speaks Igbo, hears Igbo, understands Igbo, does your reason makes sense at all? Why was Bianca not given the senatorial post? Didn't she marry an anambra man like the swiss woman? You guys have very high inferiority complex sincerely.

Twitter people usually have so much time on their hand so they waste it.

I ask, since when did being a white woman married to a black man become the singular prerequisite to becoming a state commissioner?

Some people are just dumb and thoughtless.

Nigerians are appointed into political offices in other countries. Why can't she hold one here. Its democracy after all. I say let her hold the office. It will be good for the image of the State and also for the people.

Iseeeeee. Abeg tell am. They mentioned Madam Bianca, but failed to include that Obiano's cabinet is nearly 30% women. We're looking for expertise, and if this Swiss lady has what it takes, then so be it. We have plenty of women commissioners so it doesn't take anything from our women... afterall she is part of our society - in the same way we appreciate our Igbo brethren being appointed abroad.
I no just know why anything about Igbo dey pain everybody for this country. Okay allow us make we go dem say no!

The only thing the unites this stupid country is their uncommon hatred for the East. I never see this kind bad belle before.
