For those having malaria or with children suffering from malaria or fever. Mix the turmeric and black pepper (not Cameroon pepper o) in warm milk and drink. It works like magic

I know tumeric and warm milk helps you sleep and some claims it works for weight loss but that I don't know.

First time making ofe onugbu. Thanks to YouTube and the advice I got from here. Finally settled for corn starch as my thickener. One new soup is now added to my soup repertoire.

Hope to learn ofe akwu next. I know a woman from Abagana growing up that serves it with rice and I liked it.

Ofe akwu is Banga stew. I went crazy on one Igbo guy on Clubhouse for saying Ofe Akwu is the senior brother of Banga soup .
So far, my favourite Igbo soup is Oha soup. Have you had it?

Most people think black pepper is that cameroon pepper..good you made that correction.

In my tribe black pepper is called mkpuru uziza.

It is a gold mine nowadays...
