Yesterday's loss isn't a coaching disaster

We played well.

On a good day we should have scored at least 6 in the first half.

But that how it has been since ralp took over.

They are creating chances but not scoring dem.
I remember 5-6 games that has been like that..

Attackers need to take their chances.

Pogba was good too.

D difference between him nd Fred was very clear..

Suarez, Lewandowski, Salah are better than Benzema, however he is a quality player too is what I am trying to say.

Nothing great in his scoring ability as you posited. Kane would have scored more in that Madrid team, with great midfielders with quality passes.

This was the same team that was 2nd on the league just last season. Ronaldo came and we are seeing what Buffon said about Juventus who were consistent winners until Ronaldo made them 4th best in Italy before running away.

Bruno is slowly but surely turning to Shelvey under Ronaldo.
Commentator said something about Ronaldo and Bruno running into the same spaces. So obvious! Problems Bruno hasn’t had with any other CF.

I noticed lack of urgency in yesterday's game. The transition and progression of the ball from defence to attack was really slow

It's easier for Young stars to shine and become mega stars with Lionel Messi as their team mates than Ronaldo as their teammates.
Have you seen videos of Juventus teammate of Ronaldo having a serious verbal altercation with Ronaldo at their dressing room?
Telling Ronaldo to stop attacking them or saying they are playing rubbish each time games don't go their ways, he even said Ronaldo should be humble and do away with pride.
The rest Juventus teammates just kept quiet and watch them. It was like they have had enough of Ronaldo.
Wasn't it in the news at the start of the season that some young players are at loggerheads with Ronaldo in the Manchester united dressing room?
Ronaldo isn't a player that can help you grow, he is going to do everything to take your shine.
You see all the hard work of Ramos, di Maria, Kross and modrich, even Marcello wasn't even much appreciated in real Madrid, especially di Maria who will do all the work and Ronaldo will just tap in and pull off his clothes.
Even in Juventus, morata wasn't much appreciated even when he does all the dirty works often.

Bringing Ronaldo to a team like Manchester united is a wrong move, a team where the young kids need to shine.

A team player like Lionel Messi is better fit for Manchester united . Imagine Messi with all that passes and assists to Rashford and co.

After typing this nonsense...are you happy with yourself?

Who you come sell your conscience to?

At least nobody had to pool a wool over anyone's eyes by introducing the now famous "hit the woodwork record" tongue tongue

Same Ronaldo that tackled Higuain from scoring. He always has problem with first time shooter like bale and Greenwood. Greenwood is a goal getter, no time for flick and turn and Ronaldo is aware of this. I believe him go don tell am for training ground to Dey raise head and pass for him but Greenwood nor gree sacrifice his ability for him hence his quote the other day.

Between Ororo and Greenwood, who plays 9?

And you're shouting Benzema up & down as if it's anything new

Benzema, just like Firmino had to serve his teammates so why tf you crying more than the bereaved?

Ororo came up the ranks with a knack for carrying his team on his shoulders yunno

So, what should a thoughtful coach do, seeing as the man has goal-scoring abilities

I refer you to the 2012 season when there was serious competition between him and your "hit the woodwork" legend

Hahaha is this even a question?
Or you just want us to argue this morning?
How can you be asking me this question?
Do you not see the influence Messi had over Neymar, Suarez, bojan, tello, cuenca, fati, Couthino and many many more.
Abi you want me to continue?
Do you think Neymar and Suarez would have become who they are today if they had Ronaldo as their teammates years ago?
What happened to bale and benzema when Ronaldo was there in real Madrid and compare it to benzema of Now.
Even In Manchester united, what happened to Nani and the rest players?
Ronaldo took their shine.

Do you think vinicus junior in real Madrid will be who he is today if Ronaldo is still there?
Ronaldo's only job was to inspire the young stars in Manchester united to attain greatness and not contesting with them.

FYI: Suarez and Neymar were both very big names before moving to Barca

Wtf are you saying sef

And you fvckin had to mention that Messi improved Coutinho angry angry

Abi na cos he give am good luck bracelet

You're just clueless walahi

Consistently scored more than 20 goals every season since Ronaldo left but you still can't see it. Fear God grin

This is because he is now playing all alone there as a poacher. He should be doing minimum of 30, but the guy is lazy. If you remove him today and play Ronaldo there, you will be hearing 35 to 40 goals.

If you play alone in a big team it is easy to score above 20 goals.

You didn't want to understand. They claim that Ronaldo was hindering him. But when I checked, he scored his highest goal in a season while playing with Ronaldo, even with fewer appearances than now. Ronaldo is gone and Benzema being the main man cannot score 24 goals again with more matches.

Can we also say that Ronaldo was hindering Rooney at Man United? When Ronaldo was gone, Rooney hit 26+ EPL goals twice. But that was because he became the main man. When there are many big players at once, the goals are shared, and the best player/scorer have more /most of the goals.

Lastly, people should not compare Benzema to Suarez. Suarez is far better. He is capable of out scoring any team mate. Messi was not there (did not help Suarez) when he won the golden boot in the EPL. He was not there when he help Athletic Madrid to win Laliga last season.

Bonnuci is the one who made that statement, not Buffon

How are Juve doing without Ronaldo?

Ronaldo turned a Madrid team to a 4 times UCL Champion in 5 years, you are focussing on Juve who are on decline and doing even worse now Ronaldo is gone.

Though I prefer Messi, I think you should worry that comparatively Ronaldo is having a much better season than Messi, rather than trying to pull Ronaldo down.

No I do not support the Ronaldo Hindering theory, what I didn't understand is that the season you highlighted wasn't his highest scoring season. No count me join with people wey dey dance ontop Ronaldo say e hinder our players. I think I understand your point now, you're saying he should be consistently on 30+ giving the space and the fact that he's the main man now.

You said one team suffered heavily without a particular player, meaning the player was the backbone of the team, while the other team played just as well without their star man. Thus you can infer that the latter would've carried his teammates along more than the former. Na the point wey I say you buttress be that. Morning bro

And your screenshot even shows that he's consistently scoring more goals since Ronaldo left him, already has 17 league goals this season.

That is not how 'without stats' works. It means Barca had better players than Madrid. Without Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Sanchez, Fabregas, etc could easily win.

Ronaldo efforts made Madrid to even get close to being at par with that Barca team.

Example

If you remove Lawandowski from Bayern Munich and put even Chicharito as their main striker, he will consistently score more goals because he becomes the ONLY focal point.

Today, if you remove all out forwards and play Martial as the main man, he would consistently score higher than his previous season. But it wouldn't mean that anyone was hindering him. He could not match them when all are played
