Court wedding can only be dissolved by high Court while customary Court has power to dissolve traditional wedding. surviving spouse can use registry marriage certificate to claim properties of late spouse in the eye of law. In traditional marriage, customs are observed in sharing inheritance. Surviving spouse especially wife has no say. That is why it is advised Court marriage is best for intertribal marriage.

Court wedding makes you to be identified as a married woman in the society and documentation purposes

Traditional marriage, identified you with people and families you are going to be long and get a share of inheritance because you are now a member of their family

Well you can take your wife strait to court and wed her if she doesn't identify with her family and traditions
