What did Paul say concerning Christians and Christ?

Paul and the rest of the Apostles followed the example of Christ by NOT PAYING TITHE AND NON OF THEM EVER TAUGHT ANY CHRISTIAN TO PAY TITHE.

Again I ask you to tell us the relationship between High Priest and tithe in the old testament.

You LIE. What was the reason Paul and Peter had heated arguments? That he even went up to Jerusalem to meet the founding disciples? Was it not because of the intermingling and imposition of Jewish laws on non Jewish converts? You all seem to forget that there were Jews who also converted to Christianity. They didn’t stop their Jewish traditions and that doesn’t make them any less Christian than those in Antioch!

. Circumcision was done first done in the patriarchy age before the law, God appears before Abraham and promises that his descendants will become a great nation and inherit the land. The price for this covenant is that Abraham must circumcise the males of his household, According to the Gospel of Luke, Jesus was circumcised eight days after his birth, in accordance with Mosaic law, so circumcision is been done before the law, however the early christian in the book of gal 6:15 told us that neither circumcision or not, it doesn't mean anything, what matters is the new creation christ has given us

Helping isn't a crime but I won't help all in the name of tithe. I'll buy pew for a church if I have the means, I'll pay school fees etc but I won't ever pay "tithe" to any church or pastor.

Please everybody talking about tithe should please read Deut:14v21--29 and see clearly everything you need to know about tithe, it's amaizing and far from today's concept about tithe, that's why this potion of the Bible is not read in our churches

When some said men of God talk like this, you know they want you to pay tithe by fire by force mainly because of their pocket not because of God, run from churches and pastors like this… if by every quarter a church cannot account for what is done to the tithe paid by the brethren and give thorough account of it, I don’t sit down in such church…. Even the men of God we read in the Bible didn’t show their desperation for tithes this way… shior.

The church need your money, willingly as offerings, not with threats of curses and brimstone as done by modern day Pentecostals. Christianity had survived for over 1900 without priests threatening members witg tithes, so why the sudden desperation for tithes?

Quit trying to play possum on what I’ve been saying. They were arguing on the law in general. Circumcision, eating of certain kinds of meat, the sabbath etc…the Jewish converts still did those things even though they were Christians while Paul argued that those who weren’t of Jewish origin shouldn’t be made to do same. Does that make the Jewish converts any less Christians? If Christ didn’t pay tithes and follow the Jewish laws why did Peter, James and most of the original disciples insist on them?

Let see what the Bible says about tithe from the old Testament to the new Testament.

In Gal. 6:6, 1 Corin. 9:11, Leviticus 27:30(KJV) tithing is from grain, fruits, herds or flock thus: And all the tithe of the Land(farm produce), whether of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord's; it is holy to the Lord ...Lev.27:30(Amplified version)

In Numbers 18:27(kjv) tithing is from wine press, corn and grain, lets read And this your heave offering shall be reckoned unto you, as though it were the corn of the threshingfloor, and as the fullness of the winepress.

In Deut. 12:17-18 tithing is from corn, wine, oil, herds or flock: lets read: Thou mayest not eat within thy gates the tithe of thy corn, or of thy wine, or of thy oil, or the firstlings of thy herds or of thy flock, nor any of thy vows which thou vowest, nor thy freewill offerings, or heave offering of thine hand:
But thou must eat them before the LORD thy God in the place which the LORD thy God shall choose, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates: and thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God in all that thou puttest thine hands unto.

In Deut. 14:22 tithing is from seed, corn, wine, oil, herds, flocks and its per year not monthly or weekly
And before now the Catholic churches recognise it as Annual Harvest.

In Deut. 26:12 the purpose of tithing was for Levite(majorly priestly people), strangers, fatherly, widows etc that they may eat. Thus

In 2 chr. 31:5 they tithe from corn, wine, oil, honey, etc and all are farm produce .

In Neh. 10:37 they tithe from the 1st fruit of dough erc and as offering to God's treasure house.

Malachi 3:10(kjv) emphasized all tithes mint (food) to be brought to the storehouse, lets read:
...Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Matt. 23:23 Jesus was very angry as they preach/threat people with tithing from (mint (vegetable spices), anise (spices), cummin (seed) which was not money too, instead of preaching judgement (fairness/equity), mercies, faith
So all the Bible verses(old/new Testament) agree to food or animal tithing; which is not even weightier than mercies, faith... Jesus Laments.

Some people will claim that there was no money then, "Scam! "

I tell you there was money before tithe was introduced, let see in:

Gen. 17:12(kjv) money was used in buying slave... or Bought with money of any stranger , which is not of thy seed.
Gen. 23:9(kjv) money was used in buying land...
for as much money as it is worth he shall give it me for a possession of a buryingplace amongst you.
Exod. 22:7(kjv)they lend money (banking) then...
If a man shall deliver unto his neighbour money or stuff to keep, and it be stolen out of the man's house; if the thief be found, let him pay double.
Exod. 30:16(kjv) money was used for atonement and was not considered tithing.
They only time money was used to replace farm produce was during the economic meltdown.
In which they resolve to trade by barter, so food never replace money !

And that was in
Gen. 47:15-17 (kjv) thus: And when money failed in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came unto Joseph, and said, Give us bread: for why should we die in thy presence? for the money faileth. And Joseph said, Give your cattle; and I will give you for your cattle, if money fail. And they brought their cattle unto Joseph: and Joseph gave them bread in exchange for horses, and for the flocks, and for the cattle of the herds, and for the asses: and he fed them with bread for all their cattle for that year.

Another excuse they give is that the people of old are farmers Scam!

Because in:

Gen. 40:2 they were chief butlers and bakers,
Jer. 37:21 they were Bakers and businessmen.
1 Sam. 8:13 they were cooks and bakers.
Deut. 15:2 they were bankers then.

So tithing is always from farm produce during the time of old and not money

Did you also read that part provision on of the law? Are we still under the law as a Christian?
Christ was under the law then and only telling those people to do the important things first before paying tithe as written in the law,
And when Christ died that end the law, so when you are giving it should be free will from the heart and not compostrily as the law was.

You don't read bible well and just be debating what you don't kn. Even the tithe u claim too follow are you paying the 3 aspect of it fully? Or just only the Malachi they quote for you?
