Wow!!! Give me 700k per month and I won't leave this country for anybody. Na we get am. Nigeria sweet only if you get money.
I swear, 700k in 9ja is equivalent to $3000 in most US cities.
Talking about rent of $800 a month for a 1 bedroom or a studio flat as against 70k a month for a decent 2 or 3 bedroom flat in 9ja, power n water bills haven't been deducted o, $10 minimum cab fee as against the 50naira taxi here, $50 haircut as against the 500h naira in 9ja, $600 for 5hr/pd in a month nanny as against the 30-40k live-in nanny for your kids, taxes upon taxes!
I swear a person earning 1.5m should have no biz relocating to start afresh unless they have premium skills that are being sort after over there.

some people have this "abroad" mentality. I'd rather be a king here than a servant in America.

Dear Great Nairalanders

I am in urgent need of your advice on a decision I am about to make that could shape my life and my young family in about few months from now.

I am currently running successful businesses which give me a steady minimum of N1.5M per month with a potential for expansion. I have been nursing the idea of going to UK on a study Visa by September this year with the hope that I can get a well paying job that could surpass my current earnings here in naijja. I also intend to keep my naija business running but we all know trusting people with kind of investment can be tricky and risky.

What assurance do I have about earning more and having a better life in UK? What happens to my businesses I already built up in Naija? What happens to my properties here in naija?

Your advice will be of great help at this critical decision making moment of my life. Thank you
Sell everything and relocate to the UK.

Please i am very much interested in your line of business, please can you put me through?

Studying in the UK is not a bad idea.

The big question is:

"What's your transition plan?"

Others include: "How long would you require for your study?", "How much will your study cost?", "What's your preferred course of study?", "What are the odds of getting a higher paying job with your preferred course in the UK as against Nigeria?"

Think deeply about the above questions and the potential impacts on your family.

Sincerely,

Charles

That's a bloody lie, i am currently in UK and life is well here.

You earn what you do, people in UK will surely understand my statements better.

No amenities in Nigeria, but here you get everything you pay for.

Anyone that feels leaving Nigeria is the best for him should do now.

I am here as a student and i know what i have earned within a short period. Shortage or no shortage, there are different means of getting cash.

Note: follow who KNOW ROAD
Can I contact you privately?!

Around $3600/mth Baba.

Boiz make more than that in the UK.

Moreover the stress, unnecessary expenses (Powering Generator due to no light), Health, Security (Staying in a secured environment) makes that N1.5M worthless.

$3600/mth will do more in the UK, than N1.5M in Nigeria.

And Yes, You can earn even far more than $3600 in a month.

@OP, do your findings beyond the comments here.

Nigeria will not happen to us oo (Amen)

SPAMBOX7:
That's about $6000 you make per month. Only a few percentage of UK citizens make that a month. What makes you think you can make higher when you get there. What I'd advise is increase your stream of income. I was once in your shoes but businesses really boom in Nigeria all you need is the right business ideas and you will always be good to go. So garner more business ideas and invest more. That way if you are relocating you will know you just wanna move to a better country and not for more financial opportunities
Re: My Plan To Relocate To Uk by femilambor007(m): 4:59pm On Mar 13, 2022
Grow!

There are better opportunities, peace of mind over there.

You won't be stuck to $3000 except you are not ready to develop yourself.

Hello everyone,
Please I have a friend that want's to invite someone to the UK for her graduation. She would like to know if there would be effect on her own side should the person refuses to go back home as agreed. you know the hearts of men can not be known. She has just converted her visa from tier 4 to tier 2. but her agreement with the person is just visit for the graduation. Note that the friend has a good job in Nigeria but anything can happen. my concern is if he decides to jakpa would my friend be held accountable?

Going to the UK is a beautiful Idea, But earning 1.5M here monthly and fueling generator and bad road and crazy life are far far ahead of living in the UK and doing odd jobs that you cannot collect 1M for in Nigeria. it's just a Mentality.

500k Monthly salary in Naija, U are large!

But if an abroad dey hungry you, it just a decision.... work work work and earn money, convert it and hope to come back to Oppress the Nigerians, nothing more!
