We embarked on the journey first week of February, bare footed I meant we didn't drive instead we took a public transit and we stopped at different junction to enter another vehicle since it wasn't a Direct route we crossed about 3 different states before we finally got to osun state. It was dark already a journey that took about 9hours...I didn't get a glimpse of the town until the morning when I woke up came outside from the mini hotel we lodge and realised I was in another world entirely. I was in a jungle...a village like the one we see on Africa magic.. thatch rooftop made from palm frond, mountains everywhere..left and right,..bushes. old houses insights like the hotel we lodge.

I went inside to take my bath while Ubaga was on his laptop the journey we had yesterday toke hold of him too, he didn't have time so this morning he was checking on updates...I got dressed and both of us took bike to a nearby buka to have our breakfast. I ordered for egusi soup that I couldn't eat ..it was different from the one they sell in abraka, smelling funky I nearly vomited...All this while Ubaga was chatting on his cellphone immediately A man in his early 30s approached where we at and grabbed a seat, he was dressed with those big Yorubas attire had a huge tribal mark on both sides of his face looked so unkept and dirty.


He greeted Ubaga in Yoruba, and Ubaga responded same way they exchange handshakes, while he spoke some words to Ubaga who was just nodding his head in response...from my understanding Ubaga understood Yoruba a little but he can't speak....they went outside to discuss furthermore before Ubaga came back and said we should start going, I thought it was the hotel, but no...we entered another vehicle to a deeper village in osun state just one narrow road approaching different mountains, bushes and deep Yoruba towns.... inscribed on the junctions were erected statues and pillars... welcome to OKè....ORè...iroun...and so forth until we finally got to the place.


immediately we came down from the vehicle, all eyes were on us, the indigenes of those towns were just staring both young's and old because I and Ubaga looked so different from them... cloths we wore...tattooes and all....I even doubt if they had power supply in that vicinity talkless a tv or cable....we took 3 bikes down the mountain sides to a big compound. finally we were there.

I did, same with the guy who accompanied us we went inside and there we saw an old man close to his 80s..partialy blind... weak and looking fragile.. Ubaga knelt down and use his head to touch the ground rendering praises to him in Yoruba...baba agbalagba...kabiyesi... and so on.
while he responded his greetings in Yoruba, touching his back with something that looked like a staff....we sat at the parlour while they brought us fresh palm wine and bush meat.


AFTER we were done eating, they ursherd us to the shrine, my heart was beating fast.. things have not seen before...red clothes.. statues...bones...and different fetish things in sight..deep down I was scared but Ubaga was with me who noticed my fears and told me to be calm...we sat down on a bench waiting for baba who came in later on dressed in all white attires singing incantations and finally sat down stared sternly at me.. brought out his cowries told me to use my LEFT HAND TO TOUCH IT... which I did.. another incantations before threw it on the ground...my fate was about to be read.

Baba kept looking at the salt and cowries close to 2minutes, infact he was behaving like he was listening to something or someone telling him what to say..he hummed.. and continue until he paused looked at me then signalled I should go outside for a minute. which I did.



I was called back to come in and seyi told me that baba has seen my path that I should get my listening ear on, they is only one thing he can do for me thats OGun owo (blood money) that if I do it I have alot of money more than anyone have ever met including Ubaga who even brought me.
he went further to say that people like me wasn't really that common, people who have head like mine..I don't need to stress myself all I needed was to get the things I be asked of by the oracle and leave the work to "them".



Ubaga started asking questions to questions from the way he sounded, he wanted to know if theys nothing else it seems dude didn't want that one for me ... foolish me I thought maybe he didn't want that because he heard I was going to be richer but I was wrong. dude knew what I was getting into and just trying to avert it.

seyi understood baba was getting tired of the questions and cut eyes to him as a signal to stop .I later got to know seyi was the one who brought Ubaga here early 2009 to acquire money and fame so fast everything he owns today he owe gratitude to him... and every journey Ubaga, Ayoski williams made seyi always go with them because of the language barrier...even though Ayoski was from the west the kind of native Yoruba baba spoke was different from the general one.

The ball was in my court, I said I was in as long as I live long...baba said nothing will happen to me as long as I follow the laid out rules and avoid any abominations. I was told to drop 250k for the materials and the MEAT to be used except if I was ready to bring the meat myself I needed to drop Just 30k to get the other stuffs that are also not common. at this point in time I instantly knew the meat they were talking about my heart skip a beat, I couldn't even ask to be sure.
