Fact is you can stop being emotionally attached, especially since you now know your problem.

There are lots of needy people who don't know they are needy. You're better than those.

There are lots articles and videos on the internet on how to handle this. Just head over to Google or YouTube.

Pick up a new hobby too. It helps during the process.

you need to find love,joy and happiness in yourself...let your joy be dependent on yourself and not on other people in your life.. getting attached for the sake of it might hurt you emotionally and psychologically..just the way you are afraid of being alone...just find peace,love,joy and happiness in yourself and you are good to go
