Tell them you are leaving and book with another provider even at the same price, you should start getting calls with cheaper price.

I did the same for Virgin Media, agreed a new deal with Sky. While we waiting for installation day, Virgin Media called to offer better deal. Got M100 Fibre, basic TV and landline for £29.

Nice, what's included in basic TV? Scratch that let me just Google it.

Is 100 down sufficient? Does it not buffer??
Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 2) by dupyshoo: 6:36am On Feb 25, 2022
Download speed of 108MBPS is average speed. We have used it for working from home for 2 people for over 2 years now. Recently,
we just started having issues after they called me to upgrade to M200 and I told them we don't need it. grin It has kind of gone back to normal now.

It all comes down to your pattern of usage though.

Basic TV is mostly freeview channels. We usually get that for just the recording purpose. We use Amazon stick for football/movies and also Netflix. It costs us next to nothing adding it to the package.

Hahha sapa no dey oo, I want to port but the fact that getting broadband only and all those other individual subscriptions for netflix, prime video etc may turn out more expensive is my fear.

Oya Elders advise on the bestand cheapest alternative, we like sports, regular ITV programs, box set etc, does firestick have all these? Also in HD?

Use this site to check and compare broadbands in ur area https://www.uswitch.com/broadband/ the strength of the broadband in your area will help make informed decision

If you are good with paper work and administrative duties then you can open ur own limited company to gather paper works for tax purpose. While umbrella company will take care of those.

Also, if you open your own company, it can be used for other contracts or side gigs.

Thanks, compared and haggled but seems to still be a lot sha. Will see how it goes.

have you registered with a GP and gotten your NHS number ? If affirmative, download NHS app , follow the directive on how to get covid pass. They will assign you to a location where they will physically collect your vaccine card and check it. After that, they will now upload the pass into your app. That might take up to 2 weeks after the physical verification of your Naija covid card. I did mine few weeks ago

Okay. I have registered with a GP. Thanks

Go for your booster and with that, you will be able to generate your pass.

I took my second dose in September. I will try it out if I am eligible. Thanks

Ok I get I was actually considering the 1gb down just to be able to chill with the big boys. Settled for m350 + 40gb unlimited SIM + 9gb unlimited SIM
48.99. from paying Vodafone 30£ for unlimited data.

By the way, how do I get VPN for my smart TV?

If you actualy need it, then it is not bad.

I use WiFi calling most of the times as I mostly work from home so I don't get to use up to 2GB per month.
Did you mean £30 for just unlimited data with Vodafone or it came with a phone cos I got S21 ultra 5G and 11GB data for less than £40.

I don’t see myself locking up my money on Russian stock for a long period unless it’s a penny stock.

If Russia end up taking up Ukraine and establish another political leader there more painful sanctions will come from US and the rest of the world.
