Its like these days once you release result flogging follows. See as Dangsugar dey receive beatings. No wonder Transcorp changed their mind. Hmmm, better for Access to leave their result with CBN for now oh. We cannot take this beating. 2 Likes |

Phlinx:You're right. Are you planning to buy? This is not the best time.......just exercise patience. We've discussed about Oando so much here, just let Oando be for now, don't buy. Seplat has gone up, you may have to wait for pullback. On a good day, when things are 'normal' with the country, the time oil price is going up should be a great time in NSE..........but now, we don't know what the problem is with the country, Crude price is going up, no much impact in the market and the economy. Someone suggested that all past presidents shouldn't just be silent, but should invite Buhari and his crew to a meeting whereby he needs to explain what's actually going on..... 9 Likes |

Mcy56:Do you know that this useless government was using low price of crude oil all this time as a reason of not performing .The accused pdp of doing nothing when crude price was in her favor.I am shocked now to hear this government now saying even with the high price in crude we should expect nothing good.Apc is is full of lies. Not even excess crude account being funded 6 Likes |

Chai!!! Today red small oo.... Access and UBA people never see result, dey don dey fear already.... I Blvd normalcy will be restoring/returning gradually....... Funny thing is that, those rushing out may again start rushing back in....... we've seen this many times in this market. We see how tomorrow goes again......by God's grace..... I'm sure bargain and dividend hunters are rejoicing now.........good thing is: crude oil is still going up, so there's much hope for the market. Also, there were lots of picks on the floor today, meaning bargainers are picking too.. Make you no vex for my commentary, and if you vex, jump pass am, I no direct am to you. 2 Likes |

Biafran4life:That's now the confusing part! Could you also believed that oil price has far exceeded the budget benchmark........so what's happening to the excess on top? There's something this govt isn't telling us and the masses are incapacitated to ask, the big ogas that can talk are benefitting from it... May the good Lord help us. 1 Like |

Nigerialabalaba: Over $50 chai, Why now? There are gas and diesel pumps in the USA Gas has three prices and usually $20 - $35 at the most (and diesel falls in that category also) will fill your tank (the higher range is even for higher grade gas not like naija) Pls let’s not embellish reality 3 Likes |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Dupeodus: 8:21pm On Mar 02, 2022 |
Sorry, where did you get your information from? I live in the US and I filled a car thank I used to fill for about $65 at close to $100. It's premium gas though. The point is the unnecessary subsidy of a product largely consumed by the rich in Nigeria rather than taxing it. 9 Likes |

NGXGROUP Very disappointing if this stock won't eventually pay dividend despite the profit made...... I've just been checking to see a corporate action, thinking maybe they omitted it in the financials...... Will be interesting to know the interests of the investors staking huge amount here.......and taking position........ Anyway, if dividend isn't forthcoming, price appreciation should do, will continue to be food for jijoists.... 1 Like |

moneymanager: According to triple A, the current average price of REGULAR gas in the USA is $3.65/gallon. The tank size of an average sedan in the USA is 16-20 gallons. Therefore, $3.65*17=$62. Based on these numbers, MoneyManager you’re wrong. Nigerialabalaba is right. I chose to go with averages because these are numbers any one can easily verify. 4 Likes |

Nigerialabalaba: Since when does constructive criticism turn to hatred? You lots are the reason our leaders are emboldened to be not any good. Because by the end of the day there is no shortage of people with your mindset that lack the mental and moral capacity to question their actions. I don't mean to insult you but you seem a little daft reading about your comparison of fuel price in Nigeria and the West without taking into account at least minimum wage, purchasing power and proportion of hourly pay spent on such goods. Or the standard of living accrue thereof to the society from such increment in terms of revenue. 5 Likes |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Marketapprentic: 4:37am On Mar 03, 2022 |
Nigerialabalaba: This is poor and wicked reasoning. Comparing Nigeria to USA any time fuel pump price is mentioned but turning blind eyes to Education, Security, Health , infrastructure, electricity , social support etc as seen in USA . The truth is that this APC government is excuses personified. 13 Likes |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ucvin: 7:06am On Mar 03, 2022 |
The quality of fuel used in the USA is quite diffferent from what is sold and used here. There are 3 categories of fuel there, Leaded, unleaded and special fuels. Prices vary too. Please Let's stop comparing the poor substandard quality fuel we procure here to the high quality fuel sold in the States. I live there too and can vouch for the high quality and standard of fuel there. |
