We have to be very careful on how we quickly condemn or chant for someone to be killed in this country. We should look at the situations or allow the law to give it verdict. I'm not picking a side but I think I have to say this.
I think we should be honest and view this with clear, honest heart and not out of hatred for the said young lady because the man was murdered.
I think some people with money lure these young girls and boys from school. So, many of this youths today was introduced into different secret cults, drug, prostitution, sex slavery by this so called Sugar daddy or Rich Men for their own interest. The implication of which is that there are various programs and activities including education, church/mosque services, sports, entertainment eg Pagentry, etc designed to help those that can be reformed among the prisoners to be reformed.

An MC and public speaker, MC Expensive has taken a swipe at authorities of Ministry of Interior and Nigeria Correctional Service, NCS for allowing the alleged killer of Super TV CEO, Usifo Ataga, Miss Chidinma Ojukwu participate in a beauty pageant, Miss Cell at Kirikiri prison.

Describing the development as insensitive, MC Expensive said it will further traumatise to family and friends of the late Ataga who lost their brother, father and breadwinner.

Recall that the pictures of the suspect had broke the internet following a pageant contest which formed part of activities marking the 2022 International Women’s Day at Kirikiri prison.

Chidinma Ojukwu said to have put up a sterling performance at the contest which gave her the victory at the contest and crowned Miss Cell 2022.

This however did not go down well with MC Expensive as she insists there is no moral justification for allowing Miss Ojukwu take part in the contest, saying a weighty allegation of murder still hangs in her neck which makes her unfit for the fanfare she was treated with.


"How on earth can a girl who's awaiting trial for gruesomely killing somebody's father, somebody's brother, somebody's husband, somebody's uncle, somebody's breadwinner be allowed to participate in a beauty pageant in a cell.

The place she's holed up at is called "correctional facility" for a reason. She is already been punished so what else do people want from the girl. Even as a suspected murderer her right to dignity of human person is still intact.

Sometimes it is good to learn and think critically before commenting and not just commenting for the fun of it. Firstly, she's not being punished. She's high risk and danger to the society, being a cold blooded murder and bloody thief, hence she can't be allowed to roam about in the society freely. Secondly, she's awaiting trial, justice has not been served. Thus, she's not supposed to participate in anything in prison. Her case being a first degree murder, she's suposed to be isolated in the cell, she's even a danger to other ladies convicted of minor crime. Abi what are you correcting in someone that has not been convicted? Thirdly, you don't promote a criminal, murderer for that matter, as a role model. It is bad for the society.
