What is the reason sec has not granted you guys approval because I believe they must have communicated that to you guy. That is what you should have stated. Or is it that sec does not like the faces or names of your directors ?And if you have a work in progress with regards to approval with them I don't think they will take this hard stand.Trust is earned especially in niaja because we are too corrupt individually

Posting it on frontpage won't kill us.....

What is your definition of fact.

SEC said you are not registered is that a lie. You are a private equity firm, into real estate, agriculture, capitall market etc

But in fairness to him (or her) they said they've applied but seems sec not interested in treating same.. if this is true then not good.. either approve or deny

Oil price on a steady fall for some days now. $99 at the moment. Our govt says they prefer oil at the range of 70-90$. Who knows what excuse they will give this time.

Can you say you have a bank that is already collecting deposits from the citizens, but they not yet through with their banking license

Your point is understood but again the truth is that sec is not favourably disposed to high yield investment.. you only need to read sec"s statement concerning them. no one has proven their business model is unsustainable... no one has proven its a ponzi scheme. They have laid open their business for sec's scrutiny... even you cant say with certainty that they are ponzi.. only that their roi is "scaringly high".. but how many of us actually know how much these ones are offering.. or indeed anything about them? The fact that they are bold enough to seek sec registration should count for something.. they should be objectively assessed.. instead of being lumped with the bad apples

Bros, seems you're a billionaire .......nah everything recommended you dey buy? shocked

........and to say that you always dash NSE money self .......e be like say I go need some loan from you oooo. tongue

Think it will be better you just pump your money on sound fundamental stocks and be collecting dividends yearly..........while you retain small portion, say 10% or 5% (depending on your pocket) of total fund for JIJO biz, this way, you'll limit the extent of jumping around in all stocks.
It's also good to always ask questions if you're not very sound in carrying out due diligence.......

One of the issues with Ellah Lakes is illiquidity. Sometimes ago, the directors holding unto it were told to release some for free float but I don't think it was followed thru by SEC or they're not mandated to relinquish some shares.......not very sure again.

If you must jump around as a newbie maybe, try and be buying fundamental ones at least.......with this you can convert to medium/long term if it's not meeting up with the target..........just my humble opinion anyway.
is the company worth the risk for long term investment

Because they are not sustainable. At the end of the day 95% of the Investors will lose their hard earned money

Why will a sustainable business offer a return of 40% per annum to investors, when they can get cheaper funds from the bank at 20% to 30% per annum

Well... sec should objectively assess each case (application) like i said.. not generalise... i don't think it's all sustainable ventures that the banks grant loans.. each case should be treated by sec on individual merits.. case by case basis

Not correct Sir. They made a mistake in their publication and wrote 0.16 instead of 0.0016$. You can get the actual amount by dividing their total payout($40million) by their total outstanding shares(24.59 billion shares)
Trust me if Eti (a share of 11naira was paying 66naira dividend it wont remain at the current price(sub 12) weeks after announcement.

Such ventures are only opened to qualified Investors or high networth Investors, who are financially intelligent to analyze business and Investments.

Most of such ventures in Town are targeted at the financially illiterates
