Precas interview: 3rd of November

Cas shield: 8th of November
(my old passport was to expire in August 2022 and immediately I put my passport details on my CAs shield, I received a notification from the CAs team to upload details of a renewed passport as I won’t be given CAs with a passport that will expire before the end of my studies…I had to quickly reach out to people and got a new passport within 2 weeks)

Also, I have only 1 past visa refusal which I declared to the school at the initial stage of my application and I was made to understand that Ulster’s compliance interview is only done for people with 2 or more past refusals so it was really surprising when my CAS shield was at 55% and got a mail from school on the 6th of December stating that the CAS team had scheduled a compliance interview with me cos of my past visa refusal in 2018.

Compliance interview: 10th of December

CAS:16th of December

Visa application: 20th of December

Biometric: 29th of December (walk in…slept at Ikeja tls for 4days…story for another day)

Application moved to DMC: 29th of December

Application received at DMC: 29th of December

NSF mail: 17th of January..I have 11years study gap but eco only requested for my most recent work or education reference

Submission of additional document: 19th of January and sent another document on the 22nd of January

Application moved to Vac: 28th of January

Collection mail: 28th of January (very late at night)

Passport pick up: 31st of January

Documents submitted: Pof, Tb cert, Neco, Bsc cert and Cas

Here’s why.

The writer was telling potential applicants if they’ll need to show the school POF to get their CAS or not. Everybody already knows you can’t scale through UKVI without showing POF but not everyone knows that they may need to show POF to some schools to qualify for an admission.

So, for that write up, the writer was specific about the admission side of things and not the visa.

Summary:
Some schools require POF before they issue CAS to you. - stage 1
You NEED to show POF to UKVI to get visa. - stage 2.

So should I go ahead with the payments of the minimum deposit. Please I will need your urgent response. The date of birth on the NPC and that of the international passport are correct but that of the waec is different

Do you have 3 different dob's in your WAEC, passport and NPC certificate? Which one corresponds with which?

I know affidavit could work when there are errors in names but not sure of DOB's, which is easier to correct? WAEC or passport?

An explanation on how the dates are wrong could help. The options may be an Affidavit or actually applying to correct one of the documents (whichever is easier).

The schools are not the one issuing you the visa. Some schools may ask you for POF before issuing you with a CAS while some may not BUT you still need to present POF at the UKVI.

I applied with my student transcript and I've been offered an unconditional offer, I suggest you contact the school before you apply.

I just got a conditional offer from university of derby, with provision of my degree certificate and academic reference, although I can get the reference from my lecturer but my certificate is not yet ready only statement of result we were given.
What can I do?
