Only a kid yet to experience life would disagree with this your message. Nobody wants to work hard anymore. Most persons just want to jump from 0 to 100, quick money. Another one is saying “how can you go to school for 4yrs and be driving bolt, shame no dey catch you”. I laugh. cheesy

It is either this thread is made up of kids still eating mama thank you or something is seriously wrong.

To those who get carried away with the amount of BS I read here, biko don’t let anyone shame you for doing your legal hustle or put you under any pressure. Ignore all these pictures of girls dancing in Casablanca, smoking shisha or selling gold blah blah lol. Remember where you come from. If na Uberbolt your level reach. Do it with pride till you move to the next phase.

Another one was on front page yesterday asking why a man would be selling catapult? He never knew the importance of that device till he got tongue lashed yesterday. He said if he sees the man again he go burn all his catapult give am 100k. Someone asked why didn’t he give him the 100k when he met him that day, na there NEPA take light.

In a country where 80% don’t have up to 100k savings in their account, people still have energy to cancel another man’s hustle. A country if not for India recently was the poverty capital of the entire world.

Wahala for who get carried away with all these shenanigans going on here.

Pearl1910:
Until u accept responsibility for the change u desire and fulfil all it demands u will never experience one.
Stop asking God why, work with what you have to fulfil ur own dreams.
Some people don't have dreams or even a plan, all they know is they just want to b rich, It doesn't work that way... yea u may be lucky someone or one opportunity may just change ur life one day but the generality of how these things work is a conscious step and plan to achieve it. Even God will work with what u have, it's not magic or rocket science.

Most car owners don't take this work serious...ones u can feed and pay common bills, u r okay. But u will be complaining and day dreaming about wealth. While others are multiplying their fleet. If u cant drive again, give the car out on rentals or u sell it and put the money into another business u feel is more profitable with less stress. Nobody says u must do Uber.
Some of us here are just NFAs (no future ambition) but want to be rich, while some have business acumen, and others have a plan to work their way out of this and grow their career. Ask yourself; Where do I fall into? What have u achieved with your earnings in the last 12months or 6months or how much have u saved.

Isn't it Ludacris (asin ridiculous, crazy and laughable) that someone saved N4million from a business, and took a vacation and what most people are doing is still undermine that business? Saying "Uche this Ushe dat" "Moving Lagos up and down" "running kitikata" and so f*ckin what, if that's what u need to do to make d millions and change ur life the way u wish. Nobody will dash u money that will make u somebody, even if they put u in ur dream job or business, u still have to work it out. Many guys that get freedom from their trade blow their capital in less than 1yr and some others grow it into generational wealth and build houses in Lagos and villa. What do u think is d difference in these people...it's discipline, hardwork and mentality so whatever u find doing, keep grinding in those trenches, have a plan and work it out. Cos u were not born with a silver spoon in ur mouth. Stop looking at house owners in Chevron and Osapa, and be asking God when and why? u will be upset all the time and probably die of depression. Especially if u don't thave a clear plan to achieve similar wealth. Some of those people didn't achieve it in one generation.
I would have kept quiet but I love u guys and I am allergic to negativity and wrong mentality that's why I finally spoke up. Now these words can hit u in any way; it may be offensive, a gentle reminder, a push, or repulsive. U don't have to like Pearl1910 but take the spirit and d letters of these words, know that freedom isn't cheap, there is no free meal even in freetown. It's never too late for anybody to discover himself and pursue his destiny and don't be cruel to speak bad about the opportunity that gave u that stepping stone.
Peace!!! Have a blessed day.

It's very clear to me now that Pearl is a Bolt agent on this thread: I have a very strong evidence on this:

I am in my hotel room now.

I just got an email from BOLT 10 mins ago that my Car has been removed from the platform due expired inspection. Unlike Bolt that gives me additional 3 to 6 weeks extra. So Pearl is now a crime to a contradict your opinion on Nairaland grin.

Wahalur dey O! Anyway am still chilling in Dubai enjoying my life. Work is not everything. Next week Monday I will be back in Lagos to strategize the way forward

it is high time they introduce Facial recognition or finger print feature on their App. There are so many drivers with more than 1 accounts. Which is not suppose to be. Some are even selling accounts to criminals and kidnappers unknowingly thinking they are doing favour to drivers whose has account has been blocked. facial recognition or finger printing feature will definitely tighten security on the App.

Before any driver can login and use the app, they have to go through a verification process.

Most riders don't check plate number and drivers profile picture very well, they just jumping into any Car that looks Uber.

Bolt gives 2 weeks, after expiration date...

How will they give you 6weeks grace for a inspection report that span just 4 months.

. 5 years plus in the game: I know what am talking about. There was even a time I drove extra 4 months before they demanded for a new inspection. That was 2018 to be precise. I won't forget.

I got reported by Pearl that's just the reason grin, he felt am discouraging people from driving, but am speaking the naked truth.

Hello House,

I just finished the initial testing phase of my ride hailing platform. We are set for prelaunch launch by May 1st 2022. I decided to ask experienced Uber/ bolt drivers, what can make you leave Uber or bolt and join a new taxi riding platform. What would you like to see? What advice would you have to get the attention of Uber and bolt passengers? All your ideas are welcome. Thanks please ( And we are looking for potential directors for the business)...

Life is good when you have money. Visiting Dubai has changed my perception, I might have to stop running kitikata when I return to Nigeria

Travelling is exposure and education on its own. There are better ways to make money bro. Someone just gave an idea of buying and reselling Dubai gold. It's fast selling commodity with good profit returns, I still dey deliberate on it. Like I said earlier on I came for flexing and business opportunity survey.

As for uber Riders missing me or me missing them, That one nah Opata you u dey yarn grin

You no go fit run that Arabian chick O! Can you afford to cough out 3,600 Dirhams for a night. That one nah ₦600,000, 4months earning on Bolt with 1.9 surge grin. E fit wreck somebody.

Are you LAGRIDE? grin. Anyways. It's still a good one.

Good one. Don't give up. Especially at the beta phase.

... You must go lean with staff at this phase, everything must be done online. Read the watsap story. Jain koum. and Brian Acton.

--Good design user interface both for drivers and riders (Indrive is a good one to copy. Don't be like Rida, User interface is wack. Don't launch if your user interface is not appealing.

--Destination, freedom to choose trips.

---Since you are a new entrant, I will advice a 5% service charge to pull in more drivers.....

---Maintain standard rates. Don't go cheap. You will get your own riders. Over 20 million people, 3 apps. You can see the market is just too wide. 10,000 riders (. 0005%) daily will overwhelm you.

---build in ₦20 per trip to be remitted to LASG. "ATI rubo `esu" . That will keep them off your back.

---you will need some patience before you see the big bucks. You can't compare a child of 7 years to a toddler of 3 months.

Goodluck.

Na wa o, u never dey Dubai 1 week you don dey cancel people post dey call am trash. E be like say your matter worse pass Nigerian politicians o.I have not seen where anybody posted that doing E hailing is a.last busstop, even if it is that's his choice. So many people here started E hailing for different reasons, some have met their target and moved on just the same way more people are venturing into it. You said you been driving for about 4/5 yrs right? Every biz has its own hassles so let's not go into that. But you were able to save 4mil, you decided to take a trip to Dubai right? Then all of a sudden what made it possible has turned to a plague in your eyes and you have automatically turned to a career specialist and life coach. If you take 1.5mil from 4mil that's how much? You don't just throw something that assisted you to save 4 mil into the trash and I know you know E-hailing is one of the safest way to save money if you are hardworking and disciplined though things have been shaky since. You fit don see things for Dubai and planning on investing, guy shine your eye nothing is automatic,e go shock u. I would have gone on but i know say you go soon strike out this post and call it trash. You are still intoxicated from your trip so when you get back and your eye don clear read am again. I no say make you no hang boot o, but do so without negativity na your choice and everybody will face his own reality. I no wan hear say you enter steering again o. Godspeed bro
