Calm down about yira sor ,he is new in the game okay ,he started impressing recently and there are even better players in his Position

The newer the better not when he becomes complacent and has lost hunger for the game.

So because Klopp threw in Jota and Diaz, we should throw in Lookman and Dennis too?
Diaz and Jota were threw in immediately because the team structure of the Liverpool team was in place.
Could the same be said of the super eagles? Ndidi is missing, we don't even know our starting CBs and we're still testing formations.
And na people like you will berate them if they didn't meet your expectations...you will even go as far as going against their future invitation.
The bolded ws not necessary but I really hope you're OK

In football the formation is the structure, Dennis and lookman are wingers and can play those wings as effective as Simon and chukwueze.

Ndidi has been replaced by other effective DMs like Bonke and Onyeka.

They already meet my expectations unless they play extremely bad.

The bolded was necessary because Eguavoen doesn't seem to know the forwards that make his formation click and the players who make his team look lackluster. That's why Onazi was on standby and not tijani or Onyedika.

Rather, it is only a foolish coach that will start all of Dennis, Lookman, Onyeka and Bonke

Only a person that's very ignorant of football will make such a comment.

This your formation will deprive the attackers plenty of the balls.

I don't think so... All three attackers are good ball carriers that have the ability to drop deep and retain possession.. The idea is for Bonke to do the dirty work in midfield with Onyeka playing as a box to box midfielder with Aribo playing behind the striker.. I'll have started Etebo, but we can't be sure how fit he is.. he only played a few minutes since he returned from injury..we aren't sure what his form is like..Onyeka hasn't played too since the AFCON, but he didn't have an injury crisis,so it's likely he is fitter than Etebo...

Ghana are very much likely to play through the midfield cus they believe we will play through thr flank..We can't give them that chance...

Omo this new format no make sense

Top your group and qualify remains the best
this format isn’t new, it was used for 2014 WC, we defeated ethopia 4-1 on aggregate

I kinda have my suspicions that our bredas will pull such stunts.

I hope the FA and technical crew have prepared for any eventualities whether on or off field.

What happened against SA should definitely make us extra cautious.

semid4lyfe:
Punch is reporting that Ghana plans to destabilize our team with off-field tactics especially Covid-19.

According to the report they plan to reject the Covid-19 certificates of some of our key players, insist on running their own tests which will return positive results and rule out the players.

Question:

How possible is this? I thought CAF has an independent healthcare company from Europe conducting the covid tests because of this kind of shenanigans from host countries?

There were reports that such underhand dealings happened during some crucial fixtures of the last AFCON qualifiers.

I expect the NFF to take precautionary measures...maybe travel with our food, water and probably an advance party of hotel staff to disinfect the premises before the arrival of the team. Don't want to give in to conspiracy theories though.

I will prefer all the games at this stage to be fair and clean so Africa can send her best reps to Qatar
just read that they did

Chief isn't your formation and line up overly defensive?

I agree we cant be gung ho in Kumasi but this line up is too park the bus centric.

It's not like we are facing Germany or France undecided

My opinion on our lineup against ghana tomorrow: i feel the coach should go for the lineup he used at the nations cup(4-2-3-1) with osimhen and balogun who are not available at the nations cup coming in, cos we definitely need balogun's height for set piece. So the defence should be; aina, balogun, ekong and zaidu.

Then for the midfield, i will go for aribo and i feel onyeka should replace injured ndidi. Iheanacho should play as a supporting striker that he is, then osimhen as the number 9.

As for the two wingers, i feel the coach should go for lookman and chukwueze reason because they are our less physical wingers among the four available. So by the time it's second half the Ghanaians would have gotten tired, then simon and Dennis can come in and torment the tired Ghanaians defence.
Then for for goalkeeper uzoho should start.

Osimhen

Lookman iheanacho chukwueze

Aribo onyeka

Zaidu aina
Ekong balogun

Uzoho

I did not know the time of the match, and I have been told the time. I was making jokes of the sun.

Still, there will be humidity, even without the sun. Heat is heat, with or without the sun.

It doesn't matter either way, because he will not be starting irrespective of what is said on this thread.

Many of the guys on our squad were a part of the Rohr led team that defied all odds and qualified with a game to spare against the likes of Cameroon and Algeria.

Having this kind of game experience will play a huge role over the next 6 days.

There is a news story of Buhari possibly showing up for the game in Abuja

Anyway, if that man nears that stadium, y'all can bet on Ghana.

I've become so thoroughly disillusioned with this qualifiers over the past few days, I don't even have the ginger to keep bragging or talking about it.

Buhari has nothing to do with football. I remember kelechi Nwakali promising Buhari the U17 World Cup and the rest was history.
