Question is why is Bruno even signing a new contract. These players no get ambition ni? At least let the next manager come in and know the new project and how you fit in.

One thing people don't realize about player's contract running down is they can go to a rival premier league club.
An important player in the team has 1-2 years left in his contract. Renew it now if you're not selling.
Any serious player in his last year of his contract at a team like United will run his contract down. Especially with the way we're presently directionless.

Negotiation can be ongoing until the new guy says the player is a core part of his plan. It won’t take one year like some people imagine.

Martial’s contract won’t expire until 2024. We’re stuck with him. And it’s hard getting him out of the club. Took Sevilla less than 2 months to know he’s not a starter.

It took Ronaldo 5 seasons to hit 45G/A for ManU. It took him world class ManU players of 07/08/09 to hit that stats, it took him Ref Webb and Ferguson to achieve that.

Bruno's new contract is just 240K per week, we have so many useless players in EPL with the same pay or even higher. So I don't get the fuss over this deal.
