Last week, a topic was trending about toxicity in workplace, and the experiences shared by people were inundating. That's not to say there are no good places to work in Nigeria. There are some organizations in Nigeria that have international standard when it comes to employees welfare, but as Nigerians that we are, we only dwell on toxic places and make it look like there are no good bosses anywhere in Nigeria.

I believe what's sauce for the goose is also sauce for the gander. With that said, let's celebrate our good bosses and organizations on this thread. Share your experience working with a good boss and organization

They say women are very difficult to work with but till date .she is still d best ever I work with

Myself.
But there is this one short happy fellow I will never forget. You will never know he is a super boss till you see his bills and his fleet of range rovers & benzimas.
He can inspire and motivate and make you forget your limitations. He can fold his sleeves and bend down to pack tools and equipment and load in his benz back seat.
He will tell you, you better change your job of you are still petting your car and shoes because you won't pamper them if you are sure your are on the right track to the money.
He will be first on the job site before he calls you to attend to emergency situations at midnight. I never heard him shout before.

I knew him for less than a year but it would take a lifetime to forget him.

My current boss is the best.
He doesn't complain and gives total independent liberty to all staff. And we all perform excellently well.

Whenever you come late he'll invite you to his office, give you proper orientation in a very calm manner.
Personally, I'd have preferred to work with him for long if not for the pay.

I really pray for the success of the company

My best boss is Chief Bumazek.
He taught me three things that keep me going.
1. Anything that swallow dick swallow money and time.
2. A poor Man doesn't put hand in pocket unless he want to disgrace his identity.
3. A dead man doesn't make noise.

In the beginning I taught is a comic but when time goes I came to realize the gravity of these words.

Bayo and PDM where very very influential in my early career. Bayo gave me my first break after NYSC, leading a team to deploy, manage and support a Warehouse Management System for P&G National DC.

PDM drove my development in Business Intelligence and System deployment. I remember deploying a Business Management Solution for SVNL that gave him 100% of his entire operations in 13 outlets across the country sitting from anywhere in the world. He was so excited about it after hunting such a solution for years. Best thing was that it was a free cloud solution that cost him nothing but gave him so much business intelligence he could easily set strategy for the entire business

"Ju Ju" was a big motivator. Worked with her only a few weeks but her drive and execution remain with me till this day

Some years ago, I worked as an HCM Officer for a top range school in GRA, Benin.

The school owner was one of the most resourceful women I ever met. Even though we eventually fell out which ultimately led to my resignation.

She is from an Upper Class family, but you'd never know given how hands on she was. She was basically a Jack of all Trade and was well dipped in her craft. I've never admired a lady the way I did her.

I would have mentioned her name and name of school, but I'm afraid she may be on here.

Mr Fabunmi. Boss, father, and friend. Most patient and enduring boss I've ever worked with till date. When it comes to sharing the booty from office expenditures, this man believes in equal slicing. Like which boss does that? I was forced to ask him why he's that way? his response was legendary.he said, "you're young men whose future cannot be predicted. I don't know where you may all end up, or what you may become. So for my own sake and that of my children I have to be magnanamous in my dealings". God bless you MR Fabunmi for I have carried on with your tradition and legacy.
