Rivers United continue the Lords work with another away victory today. 1-0 against Katsina United. Fidelis Ikechukwu finally has some money behind him and he is proving to be a solid coach with Plateau United. Not too long ago Enyimba fans sang "come to Enyimba" to him in Aba grin

Abdu Maikaba and Enugu finally have a good pitch so watch out for them in the second half.
The Oracle Gbenga Ogunbote is my coach of the season so far. What he has done with Remo stars is unprecedented

The real shocker is Sunshine Stars, I'm like what are u doing here grin I actually predicted Gombe would be good this season so no surprise but Wikki are my disappointment. I actually saw them fighting for a continental slot.

I believe Enyimba can climb up but the verdict is still out on Akwa.

What if Kano Pillars get relegated grin

Seriously though I think the guys that are there might stay there until the season ends. Lobi made some move but it might be too late. The teams ahead of them are really good squads.
Keep it up man...nice report.

The problem in this country is that we don't learn any lesson from our mistake . We like repeating the same mistake all the time. How many times those ladan Bosso want to coach the under 20 national team . I will not be surprised in the near future Austin Egwoavon will come back and still coach the super eagle's and Sunday Oliseh

So Rohr should have been left at the helms permanently even when the team was regressing?

Hiring and firing is part of coaching..even some of the very best coaches get fired every now and then...it doesn't take away the quality of the manager. There are too many examples.

Rohr would definitely get jobs on the continent. Maybe one would also ask why Burkina Faso had to fire Rohr at some point.

Zuchy...Rohr has done his best and let it slide,as at the time he was sacked,Rohr has lost it,so our afcon solid performance or world cup qualifications cannot not be guaranteed under Rohr, getting Mali job not a big deal cos I remember Keshi coached the same Mali.

Truly Eguavoen needed to be blamed cos Otto Ado of Ghana in a month was able to secure WC spot but Rohr with his six years as super eagles coach left a team with no solid foundation.

The only thing Rohr did for Nigeria was qualified us for afcon after missing out in two consecutive editions, nothing more....He has done his bit and he belonged to the list of foreigner who have managed our team

He took over really non existing team and gave us a team that we believed would be a team to reckon with in short distance but that did not happen.

Finide George that can not coach Enyimba . Is now the third Assistant coach . The only thing I just see is the inclusion of Ike Shoromu in the goal keeping department I could have prefer Vincent Enyeama as our goal keeping Coach Trainer in the national team

You are right I won't, same way I won't list MFM as such, that lobi played in the CAFCL was just mere luck, based on the abrupt end for that particular season, IMO, the big teams are enyimba, plateau, pillars, rangers, rivers and akwa .
I am even considering removing rangers but heck, what do I know ?
You listed Plateau and even Akwa? You're following the same line of thinking as me. Recent history.
Only once since that CAFCL outing have Lobi failed to stay out of top 5 + this their unfortunate season.

In the NPFL, there are traditional household names and there are big names almost in a 5yr cycle. Wikki Tourist between 2010-2015 were a big team

You get my drift??

The U23/Chan Eagles is a case of too many cooks spoil the broth. These names are great coaches in their own rights and that means ego problems.

Fidelis should have been moved to U20. He has so much experience right from MFM. Fatai Amoo + Fidelis - Ladan Bosso. That's the best bet for u20.

But oh well

why?

The underage teams should be for developmental process, bringing someone who've been there for more than once and a
failure on those occasions with no refresher course (Not sure) after then means we're not ready.
