Lol, I don't understand this but I'm thinking it's related to money. I think she should consider the money lost but avoid delay and complication, she should withdraw, IMO. I've also wasted money in this journey but at the end, leaving this "trenches" is the goal.
. Lol you guessed right…thanks alot

Hi Hi,
Please can you help clarify the following. I noticed the PPR emails people receive contain minute differences and can request slightly varying data or forms
1. Did you pay the RPRF upfront? If yes, when sending your documents after PPR, did you attach the receipt of the RPRF? Kindly see attached screenshot...I had paid RPRF upfront when submitting my application so I didn't bother going back to print and add the receipt
2. After mailing through DHL, any idea how long it'll take for VFS to confirm that they've received your package or what's the next likely step to track progress?

Hi
1. I paid RPRF upfront and I didn't attach the receipt when sending my documents to Vfs Lagos
2. Vfs will notify you via email through the various stages of processing your documents. Vfs will also provide you with a tracking number. It can take up to 2weeks before Vfs confirms that they've received your package.

All kinds of calculations on this journey lol that leads to all kinds of theories. Sometimes some people’s background check changes to “your application is in progress, we will send you a message when we start your background check”. This is translated to mean that the application has entered long thing, not everyone’s background check status changes this way.

When it changes back to ‘we are processing your application…” it’s taken to mean that everything is fine again and PPR is close.

Hello guys,

Please, I'm making this enquiry for a relative ..

HUSBAND
Qualifications: Bsc, MSc ( Will soon be completed) in Veterinary Medicine.
Work experience: 3 years
Age: 35yo

WIFE
Qualifications: Bsc. Nursing
Work experience: 1year
Age: 27yo

CHILD: 1 year old

Please, what is the best route for them to migrate to Canada? Can they get job directly from Nigeria? I'm a bit confused on the best place or route for them. The hubby like Australia, but I don't know if it's a better place for their profiles. Liking a place doesn't guarantee better opportunities for your future., So, no much cincern about that.

I would really appreciate any sincere advice here.

Thanks so much

The wife should be the primary applicant because she is younger and has an occupation that is in demand in Alberta, Ontario, Saskatchewan and Nova Scotia. She should try to max out as one of the conditions for getting a NOI with Nova Scotia is a CLB 9 based on the NOI sent out recently. The PR pathway for Doctors and Nurses to Australia is not that straightforward from all I have read (I maybe wrong).

Hello folks, on going through my GCMS notes, I noticed a lot of comments that causes even confusion contrary to my expectations of providing a more clarity on one's application status. I noticed my "Eligibility" and "Status" have been changing from "Calculation in progress" to "Passed" and "Not Started".

I have uploaded the screenshots of the GCMS notes detailing this, can my experienced brethren throw more light on this, please?

Thanks.

Thanks so much sis...

You're encouraging me to start and I'm starting by faith.

Please watch this space.. I will come and share my testimony.

Thank you

Lotusgoddess:

The both of you should write ielts and do your ECA, whoever is your sponsor should gift you the money and send to any of your accounts now (the earlier the better), enter the pool with what you have, hopefully you'll be selected by a province (fingerscrossed) then while you're waiting, you can consider learning French to boost your score for hubby.

Hello, thanks so much for your response.

When you said "Max out", did you mean she MUST have a score like this in IELTS; Reading =8.0, Writing =7.5, Listening = 8.5, Speaking= 7.5 ?

We've never started any processing at all. Do we write IELTS first or certificate evaluation? Don't know if WES is gonna handle the Nursing certificate evaluation.

Lastly, since the husband will not be a primary applicant, will he writes IELTS too?

Sorry for much questions, I just need to get this straight so we can start as soon as possible.

You don't need to worry yourself about this. This is just an officer documenting the processing of the eligibility. Like Gracious said, the assessment page shows the summary of the current status of the eligibility. Also, the last 3-4 pages gives an indepth into what the officer thought. Just check the notes section.

1. Yes that’s the desirable score for IELTS
2. I don’t know what body évaluâtes nursing degrees favorably but you can use the NL search button to find out.
3. Start the evaluation first because it might take time to get your transcripts, you can start practicing for ielts now and write it whenever your evaluation is almost ready. So you get both results around the same time.
4. Yeah husband should write ielts to further increase your points, his ielts is optional though.

Thanks for your input, the most recent comment was on the note section - Notes 1 to be precise which reads,

"Reassessment granted: Client is exempt from completing additional medical exam for their PR application as per the temporary Visa public policy. Please reassociate the IME number to the Visa file if the new validity date is not reflected in the system".

I have attached the screenshot for your perusal just in case there's any more insight you can deduct from it.

Thanks.

Yes, those are the exact scores to max out. She should get her Bsc Nursing evaluation done with Wes, not so knowledgeable about the nursing certificates but did she do the school of nursing thing before degree or she went straight to Bsc Nursing? If she did that, she can get that evaluated to as well to claim two or more certificates (this would boost her scores in the pool).
2. Husband needs to get his degree evaluated (There is a special evaluation body for Doctors) and write IELTS to boost their scores.
3. You can do both concurrently, one doesn’t stop the other. Write your IELTS while also getting your degrees evaluated and please be fast about it.

Thanks a lot. The wife just studied Bsc. Nursing straight.

Your advice is appreciated.

@Prettiepearlz
Edited'

I just got to know that the wife also had certifications in Midwifery and Public Health Nursing.

Now, when evaluating with WES, are we to submit all these certificates along with the main Bsc Nursing certificate?

And for the Hubby, are we to evaluate just his DVM (Bsc) certificate or we should just wait till he finishes the Masters and evaluate the Masters certificate? I don't know if this gonna make any difference in the score point.

I made a research and found that WES also do the evaluation for Vet. Doctor certificate. But you said there's a special body doing the evaluation for Doctors. Now I don't know if my findings are correct or not.

I would appreciate your further clarifications. Kiitos!

Please suggest that they spend a day or 2 thoroughly reading page 1.

Someone also suggested searching NL....try searching the keywords " nursing rn two degrees". Example here: https://www.nairaland.com/4212543/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/518#66379046

Wife being younger is great but having only 1 year work experience is a disadvantage. Husband's BSc is it also in Vet? If so, it is a professional degree (equivalent to MSc) and can be accessed by any of the ECA bodies. The specific ECA for doctors does not include Vets. There is no value to waiting till MSc is finished if BSc is in Vet Medicine. Read here : https://www.nairaland.com/6081746/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/360#97864334

Each of them could create a profile once they have ECA and IELTS to maximise the chance of a provincial nomination.

Either of them could also begin learning French for bonus points.
