I’m Pregnant With A Sickle Cell Baby - Help by Djriri(op): 10:06am On Apr 22, 2022

My partner and I are aware of our genotype situation both of us carry AS gene we both have a child together my first daughter who is AS genotype PRAISE THE LORD.

After finding out that I am also AS my partner after the birth of my daughter has told me he didn’t want to continue having children with me and would rather we both raise the child and get new partners. we want to let that connection go and 1 year later currently I’m pregnant with a baby boy who is now carrying the SS gene.

My partner has moved out of house ,, Paid me money to abort the baby and he went to start a new life far from me and the baby. I’m not sure if I should use the money abort the child and start my life or keep the child and pray for Gods forgiveness!!!!

I really don't think the partner is a bad person. the partner made it clear even before the pregnancy that he doesn't want another child with her again just wondering why he was still sleeping with her! Abort the pregnancy girl its not worth the pain.

Bleep that nonsense and do what's in your best interest. Abort it and beg God for forgiveness.

A good number of sticklers don't make it up to 5years of age. Are you ready for that kind of sorrow?

To raise this child? Because you will when your employers complain about you being absent because of a sick child. Your useless partner has jumped ship and you are busy whining about a church that doesn't care.

I lost my cousin who was 11 when I was 8 to sickle cell anaemia. I see many kids and adults succumb to it

I see and admit at least 6 sicklers every month. One of my patients is always threatening suicide in every admission due to the pain.
If you want that, go ahead.
