If u were his wife eg by Tradition since tradition allows more than 1 wife, shared parenting is possible.

If u were not married to him, abeg fight for your kids...the only K leg is having lived with him together for 7 years which may be quoted as a 'common law marriage'....

Still fight for what is yours and don't listen too much to men giving u advice castigating your right to file for sole custody.

Good morning house.... av reported at opd, and he was called they officer asked him when is he coming to lagos he said he doesn't no, they ask he when are d children coming to Lagos he said he doesn't no. So d officsr said dat with d way he is answering them he is going to be a court issue ooo. But av gotten a petition from DV unit in Alausa to be take to d lagos commissioner of police which av submitted and it has been approved as at 29th... d case is going to be handled at their gender desk. And d woman their av all assures me of getting my kids back. Probably they will call me after d holiday....... thanks everyone for their positive contributions and as for d naysayers............ I leave u to Almighty God. We all make mistakes. Just identify urs and move on.

... good..glad you have made reasonable amount of progress..it's not easy but I know you can and you would succeed and get your heart desires...just be wise,know what you want,stick to it,follow details and please anything you don't understand whether in the police station or in court or anywhere,ask questions...don't assume or just conclude when you are not sure... Once you get back the custody of the children, please do create another thread to share your journey in getting them back...the police, government offices you had to go to, etc. This would motivate parents whose spouses/partners deceitfully took away the child/children between them to get back custody.

Good evening house... av gotten a private lawyer dat charges the case to court..... and he filed for interim order and God in in finite mercy... d magistrate granted it and he was as to give me back my kids.... av been with my kids for d past one week now, d case is adjourned till later dis month... my happiness knows no boundaries after reuniting with them

Tanks ma, d joy has no boundaries and am loving it.... but he refuses to send their maintenance fees for d pastv2 weeks but am loving d facts dat my children are within my reach..... God is wonderful help is coming from all angle.....
