I lost my job as a licensing officer (adhoc) in oyo state motor licensing authority in 2020.
Its kinda iob that doest not really need being a staff. Thou being a staff is better. You only need to know people who dont have time to go and renew their particulars. You help them renew it and you get ur share. You can make up to 10k if you renew 2 or 3 cars daily.
Especially if you have a company that has trucks.
You can help them register new vehicle, process driver’s license.

I have been surviving on this with my wife a kid.

Im still on the search for a better opportunity thou.

3 weeks now. Am a teacher, resides in Bwari Abuja and have made some applications at different schools both online and physical.

I guess job seekers need to work more on effective acquisition of soft skills, also set your CV in a way that it will attract employers during review. Some people, their CV is tasteless and when you read through, you get tired.

Guys, try to buy laptop even if it is fairly used, wake up midnight and subscribe YouTube night browse N100 1GB and learn on YouTube. Learn different softwares especially MS Excel and engage yourself in constant practice.

During job interview, never rate yourself low, pray and be optimistic.

I have a very close real life example.
I was in a position to review and pass CVs to my hierarchy for selection. 2 guys sent in their CVs, one was more suited for the role as he has years of relevant experience, yet he wasn't given the job. Why? His CV.
Very boring,uninteresting and unnecessarily long, the guy packaged 8 pages and sent to us.

None of my 4 ogas took a look at his "epistle" in the name of CV.

I didn't get a job myself not until I changed the CV I had been using for years.
