"if you no know big man,you never know person"...you remember this lyrics right? it's the lyrics of one of my favorite songs of all time(if e happen for lagos)by one of the best musicians in nigeria (runtown). Douglas jack agu better known by his stage name runtown,is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and producer born on the 19th of August from enugu state.
Runtown wowed many nigerians with his sleek style of singing and perfect lyrics and he had many songs that made way for him in the nigerian music industry,songs like"gallardo","mad over you",'unleash","bend down pause" and so many more...at some point of you mention top artists in nigeria you definitely had to call him.
All of a sudden he seems to have vanished into thin air,no posts on his social media accounts,no music,no flaunting of latest car or house as this entertainers are known for nada!!!.at some point he had issues with his record label,but he's not the first artist to have such issue and I don't think that has anything to do with his sudden silence or disappearance or is he planning something big why keeping is in suspense and kinda worried?share your thoughts guys......

OP, dat's Runtown style. He releases a good song and will take lyk 6months before he drops anoda. When he dropped dat Gallardo Album in 2014, b4 he dropped anoda was 2015.

Do you expect him to sing or be in the limelight forever?

That's how the entertainment industry is, na turn by turn. Paparazzi dey tire dem too, some of them after a while take a break to spend time with their families or engage in other things underground.


Even for America na same thing. Sean Paul, Akon, Eminem, 50Cents, Jarule, PDiddy etc dey burst out brains then........All of dem don dey on a low now.

Ya, even Olamide sometime ago said he'll soon retire from music. It doesn't mean he doesn't have any song to sing anymore.....2Baba sef don slow down, he drops it once in a while.



At times when I relax for bonk I dey jam those old songs from MI, Dbanj, Djinee, Ice Prince etc.

Most especially that Wande Coal hit (Maga) Dat song dey burst my brains!
