GUINNESS relaxing......NB Plc pursuing, sighted @77 almost full bid....... may likely meet and overtake Guinness as earlier said, can't locate the post again.......lol. Don't take my words for it, I knew no j.ack about technical jargons..... grin

* CUTIX: Close to day's high..........sighted at days high, 2.75 earlier.........
* FIDSON: Not doing bad in today's market.....
* FBNH: Wonder what could be happening behind curtain here......some guys are picking at 12......

What is the implication of full bid for traders? Can one take profit when a stock is on full bid? Especially for the bolded.
Thanks.

Full bid means demand greater than supply......
Full bid could be brought about as a result of many factors ranging from good news, better/improved result, renewed investors interest, perception of rewards higher than risks (copyright OGG grin ), etc.

Implication is that a trader stands a chance of selling at higher price and making more profits......
Could also mean that better reward would come from the company at the financial year end, etc.

YES!! You can take profit when a stock is on full bid,....if it has delivered some profits to you, especially if you're not keeping the stock for dividend or long term purpose.

Na Wetin I fit remember now be that. tongue

I remembered your intervention that time.......

Nah on top WAPCO at range 9/11 or so, the same Wapco that has delivered over +150% gain now ......

Think it pays more to focus on the MESSAGE more than the Messanger......

Sadly, people here used to attack those that are helpful in the forum, why not pay attention to the MESSAGE being passed across and overlook how it was communicated...........your portfolio should be the priority instead.

Again NEIMETH now trading @ N1.61.
Should it close at that price, it'd be a maximum gain today. ...and an over 320% return from that 38k peg !!
As usual, the dude has also gone on its "usual tradition" of full bid !!
...Perhaps a 400% ROI may not impossible afterall.

It is well.

Today, UACN closed @ N13 after trading even higher on intraday.
I remember when some folks wanted to "crucify me" for highlighting the value accretive potential of the coy at @ N4+ >> N5+
Was also castigated for highlighting the parts in bold.

They said the coy (UACN) and it's magt are nothing but fraud...
That they won't allot updc-riets to their shareholders....
That the coy isn't capable of maintaining a positive growth trajectory from then on...
That the N5+ price at the time was too expensive and needs to come down to 80k... etc. wink cheesy grin

Well, the rest they say, is history!
It is well.

Hope for your sake and those waiting to see Q4/YE 2021 report, that you all can get to buy it then without having to pay an appreciable premium to CMP.

Try reading the post above... and substitute NEIMETH with INTER BREWERY.

With IB, the end of a LOW BASE EFFECT was established in Q2/H1, 2021... while a TURNING POINT OF INFLECTION was born in Q3, 2021. ...Q4 will mirror it more, while Q1, 2022 will herald the... (Let me just comment my reserve) wink cheesy grin

Already highlighted these stuffs and more with several analysis in times past.

It's often best to KEY IN once you can perceive the part in italics.
As I've said before now, a N5 peg for IB is a STEAL! ...it's like buying a bottle of Grand Malt for <N30.

Elsewhere, NIG BREWERY is showing a similar characteristics. ...however my chase for value means that I'd be more inclined to assign a higher portfolio weighting in INTER BREWERY than NIG BREWERY.
...perhaps a 65-35% or 60-40% weighting should make sense. (value-driven quest in view)

Well, you already know that I love that man Mr Time... and am sure you know why!

Selah.

Some persons will probably think the price peg of INTEBREW is now high.
Well, just wait until we get to the N20 boulevard.

I maintain that the journey won't be smooth (price push up in view), but forward we shall move!

Again, Mid to long term HOLD!

It is well.

A line of disclosure...

If you are an investor with a mid to long term horizon and are looking for a stock to align with and have peace of mind, then go the route of GLAXOSMITHKLINE (GSK)
Pls note the term... mid to long term.

BUY... ACCUMULATE and sleep very well.

But hey! don't forget to come back here to say thank you. ...or better still, send in your tithe to help move "the ministry forward". cheesy cheesy cool

Due diligence still applies.

It is well.

Again this journey will be swift.
It'd be like a train ride with Mr GSK.

The coys CMP still showing an over 81% discount (MoS peg from IV) even after detaching a 2.5x premium to current surrounding risk level in view of potential REWARD. (Here comes peace of mind)
...and that, using a very conservative valuation model.
Using the coys last financial print as yardstick, GSK should have NO business trading below N22.71.

In the stock market world, a cheap/undervalued asset isn't just one whose price is low in terms of VALUE or high in REWARD... but broadly one whose price is lower in terms of RISK and even higher in PEACE OF MIND.

Hmmm...

In 2021, INTBREW made 182.3 billions, used 136 billions to make and sell their products, administrative expenses for 35.9 billions, marketing and distribution for 17.7 billions. At this point 182.3 billions was exhausted... More expenses... Bottom line - 17.7 billions in losses...

Retained Losses increased to 36.7 billions, was only 19 billions the previous year.

The inflection point you are talking about, is that from TA?

I have a question for any member knowledgeable on it to help me.

If one wants to change the account in which he receives his/her e-dividend in. As another bank is now preferred for getting it. Does one fill out a new eDividend form with each Registrar and submit it either at the bank or registrars office. ?

You fill a new mandate with the preferred account. It's better done at the registrar's office.

The coming dollar devaluation is going to trump what we saw in 2008. Just relax.

Dollar will be massively devalued. It will create a wealth effect in EMs. After the wealth effect, what comes next is what I don't know.

Foreign market has not started to run yet. This is just the beginning. It won't be a straight line down for them.

The dollar being over valued has been on for many years now. The cloud is getting thicker and thicker. Despite the cloud the dollar gained last week on most international currencies if i quote the news correctly. Even if the dollar is devalued with respect to international currencies, the naira is still under pressure to be devalued relatively to the dollar mainly due to insecurity. Insecurity is currently holding back $'s looking for Naira. Ideally many Nigerians earning dollars would not mind visiting home more and perhaps retire to Nigeria with a lower cost of living and to enjoy good quality fresh food. If this issue of insecurity clears NSE has an upward path from it's current lows.

The dollar devaluation is going to be very extreme IMO. One man's debts (US Government) is another man's financial assets (Holders of US T-Bills AKA everyone in the world). The US obviously cannot afford to pay their debts so the only choice is to inflate it away which they have already done massively with "quantitative easing". Once everybody wakes up and realizes their assets are being inflated away then the jig is up. They start selling their bonds when they realize they will be paid back in worthless dollars - and this is what causes these devaluations/currency crises to be swift.

But the dollar being over valued due to excessive debt no be today. It has been building up for a long time. Lot's of countries will be impacted if the dollar collapses. Difficult to imagine a massive sharp impact. There is still a lot of interest in sovereigns saving globally in $$$. The dollar still gained last week relatively to global major currencies due to demand. As there is still no other major global reserve currency like the dollar.

Since there is a low probability the Naira will appreciate against the dollar even if the dollar devalues relative to major international currencies, my thought is in Naira terms, there will be no negative impact on Naija banks.

The ball has to drop at some point. Credit functions in cycles, even the biggest most powerful countries can't just borrow in perpetuity there will always have to be a deleveraging at least once per century and this goes back to the beginning of money and civilization. They even used to cancel debts every 50 years in biblical times.

People are running to the dollar for safety not knowing that they may actually need safety from the dollar. When the US government needs money, it just borrows it into existence (like all countries do) and promises to pay it back + interest. If you borrow the first dollar into existence and promise to pay it back + interest, where do you get the second dollar? It has to also be borrowed into existence. The whole system can only work if the debts continue rising forever. Many people will argue that this is by design and its just how economies work. In reality, economies have only worked like this since Richard Nixon got rid of the gold standard 50 years ago. There is a 100% failure rate of fiat currencies throughout history, but never has the world's reserve currency been fiat.

The real crisis is that in those same 50 years the US has been operating with a trade deficit, buying more from the rest of the world than they have been selling and paying for these goods with US dollars that they borrowed into existence. This system doesn't collapse because countries don't actually convert their dollars back to their own currencies because it would cause them to appreciate and make their exports uncompetitive. So what do they do? They loan that same money they were paid for their goods right back to the US government by buying those same bonds! This is the true luxury of being a superpower.

Now inflation is high in the US and they are facing the classic issue. The level of inflation adjusted interest rates that is low enough to save debtors from bankruptcy is below the level required for creditors to hold the debt as a viable storehold of wealth, devaluation is the only option - in fact its an inevitability. I suggest you read (or watch) Principles for dealing with the changing world order by Ray Dalio the largest hedge fund manager in the world.

As RabbiDoracle has stated, there will actually be a wealth effect in emerging markets because compared to the rest of the world we hold comparatively fewer US government bonds
