I ate beans with weevils to the point of hating beans. Back then in secondary school, beans infested weevils was a normal food then and you can imagine eating rice and beans everyday, it was that bad but am getting to live beans again.

Same here! Beans started giving me heart burn at one point and that was how my diet of beans and weevils eventually ended. I had no love for beans for many many years after that. undecided

Now, as an adult, I have grown to actually love beans but still beans & weevils remain a combination that go together. I never see weevils inside beans for long, not that I even care to look out for them. But if I do see them together, I would probably just shrug it off and continue eating. That is how ingrained that combo has become for me. grin

As I dey take am down fire na so I dey chop am ooo.... my stomach no dey gree wait give me time to take picture before the urge to gobble it all up arrives.

But on a serious note, I now found a more earth friendly way to utilize all the dandelion plants wey full lawn and backyard so. This summer is going to be awesome..

And I heard they are very good for you, I always treat them as weed but maybe I will have to do more research before eating them.

I can tell you the leaves are delicious in soup .... a great bitter-leaf substitute- and my bowels are loving them. grin
