Changing a visiting visa to a resident visa is not allowed. But if your aim is to establish a business, then you can do that and your business will give you residency.

You can start your small scale business immediately you have your residence permit.You wouldn't invest anything to get your residence permit unless you want Turkish passport you can invest and it's not easy to get for Africa People unless an asian people.

Okay! It's good! Turkey is a good place for you for that, Yeap! 2m is a lot of money here you can start with it. Did you want to open shop here because that money can be small if you want to open shop here but just for Cargo (buying and sending it back to Africa especially Nigeria, it's good to go...

And is it more profitable to send goods back home instead of opening shop ?

That money maybe too small to open shop here after shop what about the good and service you will buy into shop apart from that other factors like language barrier before your business can succeed you have to wait for like 3 to 6months.
Yes, Embassy can give you at that amount in your bank account.
I think so if you have a lot of buyer at home and you can start this one immediately you are in Turkey not like shop
