Someone asked this question at my place of work and it's seriously being contested with different opinions. Is it right for a Man to bath his daughter and wash her v area.

Of course yes, if she is below 10yrs of age he has every right to bath her!

Come to think of men whose wife have died leaving him to take care of their daughter, definitely he will bath her, rub her cream and cloth her...so no big deal in that!

But I am not speaking for all those peodophilic, rapists and perverts of a fathers

Men have been bathing their daughters from time immemorial especially in the rural areas.
Growing up, my neighbor used to bath his 9 years old daughter until we relocated.
I'm sure he kept bathing her afterwards...

Even below the 8, the daughter should have been taught to watch her intimate regions herself..while the father can wash other parts of her body.

I bathed my daughters a few times when they were younger...but even then their intimate regions are strictly off-limits..they have to wash that part themselves the way their mother taught them to do it.

The funny thing is, I now work with people who needs help cleaning themselves and sometimes I might have to assist in cleaning that area for some..males and females..it is strictly professional..u just do it and move one.

I had surgery once and a female nurse have to bath me..but I have to clean my intimates myself..but she still have to insert the painkiller through my backdoor...but u know for them it is strictly professional

I have a friend whose dad bathed her till he passed away when she was 10. She is the last born and his favorite, which is why he bathed her till age 10.

Things have deteriorated so bad, yeye spirit roaming up and down.
However, I don't think a dad should bathe his 10year old daughter. A child that age should begin to be taught on not being comfortable opening her body before anyone-Mother or father. That would be helpful in the long run as regards modesty.

These yeye spirits are having a field day. Seriously.

By age 10 a child should be able to bath him or herself, unless you just want to indulge them. However, what are you covering before your parents? Don't force them to cover up before you. They will on their own learn to start covering up.

I dont think there is anything wrong in it. But in other to avoid being considered a mad man by people with faulty eyesights, one should avoid trying to get into town with a dirty car mechanics attire lol.

Am a proud father of 3 girls and a boy. I have NEVER bathed any of my daughters. Things we read these days are too scary, so I think its better one avoids certain things no matter how good your intentions might be.

Our society is a bit biased against fathers. But you can't blame people sometimes because of the scary things we read about some so called fathers doing to their daughters. For example my wife while bathing my son could hold his little manhood and make a joke about it and we all have a good laugh. She could do that on a few more different occasions like while helping him to urinate when he is sleepy, and we all still have a good laugh; But if a father holds his daughters urinary machine and makes such jokes, or does it in some other occassions too, hmm people will start reading silly meanings into it.

So better to avoid certain things while still being a great dad than trying to be a perfect dad and be termed something else by people with weird thoughts.

This is my take on this - Cheers.
