I just got a police clearance certificate (PCC) request for my wife who is currently with me in Canada on a work permit. She did the PCC in Abuja in 2020 when she was in Nigeria. She moved to Canada in September 2021. My question is is her finger print needed again to get the PCC from Nigeria?

She'll send the form with directions via whatsapp. All you have to do is take the prints, scan and send back to her along with data page of intl passport, pay and she'll forward completed copy via same platform. When we planned on going together part of the funds were in his account now that our plans have changed and I’ll be going alone with the kids for now I hear I can’t show POF in his account as he is not accompanying. Therefore, can my husband now gift me the funds and we do a gift deed?

I tried applying for express entry to put in my profile, I registered username, logged in but couldn't proceed any further to put in further details.
Please help, is it because of the express entry being on hold.

I logged in using GC Key but no info to start filling and updating profile it gives me continue option but returns to start page showing English or France option.

Hi. Yes your husband can gift you the funds and you do a gift deed.

You can still show funds in his account o. I don't think it's necessary to do a gift deed. He just needs to write an authorisation letter saying you/kids/him have access to funds in his account for purpose of EE. Better still have him transfer to you and then you write an LOE stating who it's from.

Don't forget that you'll still include POF for him as well as medicals and PCC despite unaccompanying

If it is a joint account, yes you can. If not, you'd need to write a consent form to show he has access to the funds in your account and notarize said letter if possible.

She can't because he's not accompanying. The funds need be in her account since she's going without him.

No, you can't use shares/equity as POF. I have seen somewhere on this thread where someone used 25% of their pension, just not sure if that still works as it is not precisely liquid cash.
