Morning house , I submitted my application on Tuesday but I’m yet to receive transfer of documents to the embassy , I don’t think that’s normal . Please how do I add my phone number and email to the ups website to receive notifications? Please respond @ donbaba123 |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Donbaba123: 8:02am On Jun 03, 2022 |
Jyde1234: Try to track it on vfs website this evening, it will be sent to the embassy. After that, you have to keep following up with UPS to get your passport back cuz vfs are not updating the processing stages on thier website after they send application to the embassy.. Link to track on UPS with your tracking number on your document : https://www.ups.com/track? And click on get Updates to add your mail and phone number. |

Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by QuackZulu: 10:43am On Jun 03, 2022 |
talentarena: Nah Gee, it is not a compulsory requirement. I just threw in my SA police clearance certificate for good measure. It is possible to do it (the one from the Nigerian Police) by proxy, if you have a contact at Alagbon. They will most likely send you the form and depending on where you are - you will be required to take the finger prints yourself (with the help of someone), if you are in a foreign country at a local police station or you can buy the ink stuff they use and do it (DIY style). You then scan it to your contact at Alagbon with whatever extra detail they may require. It most likely won't take a day to get it. The next step is to arrange for it's collection and delivery to you. |

@donbaba123 Thanks for ur quick response, I tried tracking through Vfs website , it’s keep showing wrong input . Also , I’m unable to locate the get update on the ups website . |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by QuackZulu: 12:44pm On Jun 03, 2022 |
Jyde1234: For the wrong input stuff it may be an issue with your name For example, my surname is double barreled and has an hyphen. For a while I got a wrong input message no matter the combination. I decided to just split the surname into two by using a space instead of the hyphen and voila! It worked. Also double check your vfs tracking number as well. Also I have added the UPS stuff with steps that may help

Hi y’all prospective France Students and Aspirants in this thread. In the quest to give back to the community as well as re-enforcing developmental growth for Nigerian students, AfriAide is creating a platform that helps African students settle down easily in France and perfectly into France’s educational system. And yes, AfriAide is an NGO, meaning; every single information, contributions, help, grants etc are free as the organization is a non-profitable non-governmental created solely for Africans by Alumni in France So we created a New Thread for record purpose as we are here to answer questions regarding settling down and getting to know yhe french education and it’s challenges as well as student life. Here is a link to the thread; https://www.nairaland.com/7160527/going-france-studies-afriaide-helps However, all relating questions here will be answered directly by AfriAide. Cheers !

Good evening Everyone. Please I have appointment this week for France Tourist Visa, first application. I have a travel history to Turkey on my previous passport with an over stay, which I paid the visa violation fee before returning. My Question is, should I include the Turkey Travel history to my documents to boost my chances during submission, or would it be like shooting myself on the leg due to the Visa violation? Please help me my people. |
